Declaration That a Reserve be the Waldronville Domain
and Appointment of Domain Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the
Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation
described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain,
subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be-
known as the Waldronville Domain, and further appoints

The member of the Taieri County Council representing the
Kaikorai Riding, ex officio;
David John Dunwoodie;
Alexander Walter Galbraith;
James Arthur Grundy;
David William Leeden;
Norman Rowlands;
Roy Charles Tempero;
William Wells Waldron; and
Norman William Young
to be the Waldronville Domain Board to have control of
the said domain.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—WALDRONVILLE DOMAIN
Lot 167, D.P. 8263, being part Sections 66 and 67, Green
Island Bush Survey District: Area, 3 roods 32 perches, more
or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 372, folio 109.

Appointment of Judge of the Native Appellate Court of the
Cook Islands

PURSUANT to the Cook Islands Amendment Act 1946, His
Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Maurice Alister Brook, Esquire,
a Judge of the Maori Land Court of New Zealand, to be a
Judge of the Native Appellate Court of the Cook Islands.

Judge of the Native Appellate Court of the Cook Islands.

Temporary Stipendiary Magistrate Appointed

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1947,
His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to
appoint
William Carrol Harley, Esquire,
of New Plymouth, to be Stipendiary Magistrate to exercise
civil and criminal jurisdiction within New Zealand; to hold
and exercise the duties of such office for the period from the
27th day of May 1957 to the 28th day of June 1957, both
days inclusive.

Magistrate Appointed to Exercise Jurisdiction in Children’s
Court

PURSUANT to section 27 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, His

diction in the Children’s Court at Palmerston North on and
from the 27th day of May 1957,

Appointed

PURSUANT to the Waterfront Industry Act 1953, the Minister
of Labour hereby appoints the following persons to be the
Port Conciliation Committee for the Port of Dunedin for a
term of one year expiring on 30 April 1958:
Arthur Selby Dalgliesh, Chairman; and
James Brian McGowan, Deputy Chairman; and
James Horace de Clifford, Arthur James Murdoch Leslie,
and John Alexander McPhail (nominated by the New
Zealand Port Employers’ Association Incorporated); and
Ronald Callaghan, Charles Dalwood, and Alfred George
Lovelock (nominated by the Dunedin Waterfront Work-
er’s Industrial Union of Workers).
