NEW PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF DESIRE TO CHANGE PURPOSE FOR WHICH LAND IS
HELD
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 20 of the Public
Works Amendment Act 1952, that the New Plymouth City
Council desires that the land described in the Schedule hereto,
which is at present held by the Council for the purpose of
additions and extensions to its electric light and water power
works, should be set apart for the purpose of a crematorium,
and intends taking the action required by the said Act to
have the purpose for which the said land is now held changed
accordingly.
All persons affected by the said proposed change of purpose
are required to set forth in writing any objection thereto
and to send such written objection to the Council at its office
situated in Liardet Street, New Plymouth, within forty days
from the 22nd day of May 1957, being the date of the first
publication of this notice.

NELSON CITY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
NOTICE is hereby given that the district schemes under the
Town and Country Planning Act 1953, in operation in the
district of the City of Nelson, have become due for review
under section 30 of that Act and are at present under revision
accordingly.
Copies of the operative schemes (and a statement of the
changes proposed to be made therein) have been deposited in
the Council's office and in every public library in the district,
and may be inspected without fee by any person who so
requires at any time when those places are open to the public.
Objections to the proposed changes of the schemes or in
respect of any portion of the operative schemes which the
Council proposes to confirm without any change may be
made by way of written notice in the form No. 4 prescribed
in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning
Regulations 1954 or to the like effect and lodged at the office
of the Town Clerk marked "Objection to District Scheme"
at any time not later than Monday, the 9th day of September
1957.

HAURAKI PLAINS COUNTY COUNCIL
TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Hauraki Plains County
Council, at its meeting held on the 13th day of February 1957,
has resolved to prepare for the Hauraki Plains County a
district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and
Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is
hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its
opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the
proposed scheme.
Proposals, "Hauraki Plains County District Scheme," should
be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County
Clerk's office on or before the 31st day of August 1957.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday
evening of each week, and notices for insertion must be
received by the Government Printer before 12 o'clock of the
day preceding publication.
Subscriptions.—The subscription is at the rate of £5 5s. per
calendar year, including postage, Payable in Advance.
Single copies of the Gazette as follows:
For the first 16 pages, 6d., increasing by 6d. for every
subsequent 8 pages or part thereof.
Advertisements are charged at the rate of 9d. per line for
the first insertion, and 6d. per line for the second and any
subsequent insertions.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, etc., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
STATUTORY REGULATIONS
Under the Regulations Act 1936 statutory regulations of
general legislative force are no longer published in the New
Zealand Gazette, but are supplied under any one or more of
the following arrangements:
(1) All regulations serially as issued (punched for filing),
subscription £2 per calendar year in advance.
(2) Annual volume (including index) bound in buckram,
£1 10s. (Volumes for years 1936-37 and 1939-42 are
out of print.)
(3) Separate regulations as issued.
The price of each regulation is printed thereon, facilitating
the purchase of extra copies.
Orders should be placed with the Government Printer,
Publications Branch, Wellington C. 1. Separate copies of
regulations may also be purchased from the Printing and
Stationery Department, 130 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, or
from the Chief Post Offices at Auckland and Dunedin.
