A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
All those pieces of road in the Southland Land District, situated in Taringatura Survey District, Southland R.D., described as follows:
A. R. P. Adjoining
3 3 11·4 Lots 1, 2, and 3, D.P. 3599, being part Section 117, Block XXXI.
2 1 38·6 Lot 6, D.P. 941, being part Section 117, Block XXXI.
5 0 11 Closed road and Lot 5, D.P. 941, being part Section 117, Block XXXI.
2 1 38·7 Part Lot 8, D.P. 942, being part Section 117, Block XXXI, and part Section 118, Block XXXVIII.
4 0 3 Closed road and Lot 11, D.P. 942, being part Section 42, Block XXXVIII.
3 2 17·8 Section 414 and Lot 1, D.P. 1994, being part Section 118, Block XXXVIII.
As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153446 (S.O. 6267) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Revoking Part of a Proclamation Defining the Middle Line of the Sockburn-Styx Railway

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the 18th day of June 1953 and published in the Gazette, 25 June 1953, Volume II, page 962, defining the middle line of the Sockburn-Styx Railway in so far as it affects part Lot 1, D.P. 14171, part Rural Section 7718, situated in Blocks VI and IX, Christchurch Survey District. All certificate of title, Volume 548, folio 271, Canterbury Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 27th day of May 1957.
