Election to Administer Estates Under Public Trust Office Act 1908, and Amendments
PURSUANT to the Public Trust Office Act 1908, and amendments, the Public Trustee has filed in the Supreme Court an election to administer in respect of the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are set out hereunder:

Unclaimed Property-Notice by the Public Trustee Under Part III of the Public Trust Office Act 1908
WHEREAS it has been reported to the Public Trustee that Colin Halketh Greenwood, formerly of Auckland, is the owner of all those pieces of land described in the Schedule hereto; and whereas the said lands were vested in the said Colin Halketh Greenwood as the administrator of the estate of Joseph Greenwood, deceased, and as the residuary beneficiary under the will of the said Joseph Greenwood; and whereas it has been reported to the Public Trustee that the said Colin Halketh Greenwood is dead and that the executors of his will are dead and that no other person has been appointed as the administrator either of the estate of the said Joseph Greenwood or of the estate of the said Colin Halketh Greenwood; and whereas the value of the said lands does not exceed £1,000:
Now, in pursuance of section 87 of the Public Trust Office Act 1908 as amended by section 41 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act 1921-22, by section 21 of the Finance Act 1936, and by section 2 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act 1948, the Public Trustee hereby gives notice that he intends to exercise in respect of the said lands the powers mentioned in subsection (1) of the said section 87 including the powers of taking possession of and selling the said lands.
SCHEDULE
ALL those parcels of land at Titirangi, near Auckland, being situate in the Parish of Waikomiti, of a uniform width throughout of fifty (50) links, more or less, and being first, part of Allotment 53 of the said parish, bounded on the north-east and south by School Road and on the western boundary by another part of the said Allotment 53, three hundred and forty-eight decimal four (348·4) links and twenty-two decimal three (22·3) links, and also Lot 1 on Deposited Plan No. 30393, one hundred and two decimal nine (102·9) links, one hundred and twenty-eight decimal three (128·3) links and one hundred and thirty-six (136) links, and on the eastern boundary by Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 30996, two hundred and forty-four decimal nine (244·9) links, and sixty-nine decimal six (69·6) links, and also by part of Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 32001, sixty-four decimal two (64·2) links, one hundred and sixty-three decimal eight (163·8) links, and seventy-seven decimal three (77·3) links; and secondly, part of the said Allotment 53 of the said parish bounded on the north and south-west by School Road and on the western boundary by another part of the said Allotment 53 of the said parish, five hundred and thirty-three decimal four
(533·4) links, three hundred and thirty-six decimal six (336·6) links, one hundred and fifty-nine decimal nine (159·9) links, two hundred decimal two (200·2) links, and one hundred and forty-two decimal nine (142·9) links, and on the eastern boundary by Lot 2 on Deposited Plan No. 32001, four hundred and sixty decimal six eight (460·68) links, and also by another part of the said Allotment 53 of the said parish, one hundred and twenty (120) links, three hundred and forty-four decimal six (344·6) links, one hundred and ninety-seven decimal eight (197·8) links, two hundred and nineteen decimal two (219·2) links, and one hundred and eighteen decimal three (118·3) links; which said parcels of land are comprised in Crown Grant registered in the Deeds Register Office at Auckland as No. 10223 to one Joseph Greenwood, and in subsequent conveyance registered in the said Deeds Register Office as No. 44920, bearing date the 8th day of August 1869, to Colin Halketh Greenwood, of 2 Blenheim Place, Mount Zion, Lumbridge, in the County of Kent, gentleman, as administrator with will annexed of the estate of the said Joseph Greenwood.

Unclaimed Property-Notice by the Public Trustee Under Part III of the Public Trust Office Act 1908
WHEREAS it has been reported to the Public Trustee that Thomas William Taylor, formerly of Whangarei, clerk, is the owner of all that piece of land situate in the Provincial District of Auckland containing 48 acres, more or less, being the western portion of Section 73, in the Parish of Parahaki, and the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 130, folio 290, Auckland Registry; and whereas it has also been reported to the Public Trustee that it is not known where the said Thomas William Taylor is; now therefore, in pursuance of section 87 of the Public Trust Office Act 1908 as amended by section 41 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act 1921-22, by section 21 of the Finance Act 1936, and by section 2 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act 1948, the Public Trustee hereby gives notice that he intends to exercise in respect of the said land the powers mentioned in subsection (1) of the said section 87 including the powers of taking possession of the said land and completing and carrying out a subsisting contract to sell such land.
