Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Auckland-Hamilton motorway and that the land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 27th day of May 1957.

ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District containing 13 acres 3 roods 28 perches, situated in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being Lots 1, 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 9254. Part certificate of title, Volume 1081, folio 74, Auckland Land Registry.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District containing 36 acres 2 roods 21·6 perches, situated in Block XI, Otahuhu Survey District, Auckland R.D., and being part Lot 1, D.P. 5201. Balance certificate of title, Volume 232, folio 286, Auckland Land Registry, after excepting thereout an area of 3 acres 3 roods 19·6 perches, being Lot 1, D.P. 40503.
