The liquidator of South End News Ltd. TAKE notice that, on the 8th day of May 1957, J. A. Ross Ltd., a company duly incorporated and having its registered office at 61 Pleasant Road, Glen Eden, presented a petition for the winding up by the Court, under the provisions of the Companies Act 1955, of Murphy Abbott Ltd., a company duly incorporated and having its registered office at Sixth Floor, Southern Cross Building, Chancery Street, Auckland, on the grounds that Murphy Abbott Ltd. has failed and neglected to pay its debt to J. A. Ross Ltd., is unable to pay its debts, and that in the circumstances it is just and equitable that it should be wound up.
The petitioner's solicitor is John Gideon Jamieson, of Auckland, and the petitioner's address for service is at the offices of Messrs Lovegrove, Turner, Hopkins, and Jamieson, Solicitors, Power Board Building, Queen Street, Auckland. The petition will be heard at the Supreme Court House at Auckland, at 10 a.m., on Friday, the 31st day of May 1957.
Take notice that any person who intends to appear on the hearing of the petition, either to oppose or support, must send notice of his intention to the petitioner or to his solicitor within the time and the manner prescribed by rule 22 of the Companies (Winding Up) Rules 1956.
