Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XIII, Matakoh Survey District, for Road
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for road; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Ruawai and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of the land, set forth the same in writing and send the writing within forty days from the first publication of the notice to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions
of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as
they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not
apply to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof
the following provision shall apply.
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of
the Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy
trade motor in the course of their employment for the
employers described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but
shall not authorise them, while they are under the age of
eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other
purpose.

PURSUANT to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the persons named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being testing officers under the said regulations for the authority specified in column 1 of the said Schedule.

The Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 1
PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act 1947, the Minister of Industries and Commerce hereby gives the following notice:

  1. This notice may be cited as the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957, Amendment No. 1, and shall be read together with and deemed to be part of the Control of Prices (Positive List) Notice 1957* (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).
  2. This notice shall come into force on the 17th day of May 1957.
  3. The principal notice shall cease to apply in respect of the goods and services set out in the Schedule hereto.
  4. The principal notice is hereby consequentially amended by omitting from the Schedule thereto all references to the goods and services referred to in the Schedule hereto in respect of which, pursuant to clause 3 hereof, the principal notice no longer applies.
