PURSUANT to section 15 of the Royal New Zealand Air Force
Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General has been
pleased to approve the following appointments, confirmation
of appointments, promotions, extensions of commissions,
transfers, and resignations of officers of the Royal New Zealand
Air Force.

REGULAR AIR FORCE
GENERAL DUTIES BRANCH
Appointment

Morgan Brownson Edwards, O.B.E., p.s.a. (78669), is
granted a short-service commission in the General Duties
Branch, Regular Air Force, for a period of two years to be
followed by four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers.
He is appointed to the rank of Squadron Leader with seniority
from 14 March 1949, with effect from 14 March 1957.

Promotion

Flying Officer Winston Ross Swap (74971) to be temporary
Flight Lieutenant, with effect from 1 April 1957.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH
Transfer and Appointment

Secretarial Division

Flight Lieutenant John Dempster Waugh (72671) is transferred
from the General Duties Branch to the Administrative
and Supply Branch (Secretarial Division), and is granted a
permanent commission in his present rank with seniority
from 18 October 1954, with effect from 17 April 1957.

Extension of Commission

Flight Lieutenant the Rev. Kenneth Schollar, B.A. (75440),
is granted an extension of his present commission for a period
of two years, with effect from 24 April 1957.

in the General Duties Branch, Territorial Air Force, for a

Aircraftman Maurice Jude Ineson, M.SC., is granted a
commission in the Air Training Corps with the rank of Pilot
Officer with seniority from 28 July 1955, with effect from 28
March 1957.

Flying Officer Ian Dudley McLellan to be temporary Flight
Lieutenant while commanding an Air Training Corps Unit,
with effect from 1 April 1957.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS
Confirmation of Appointment

Acting Pilot Officer Gordon Lerwill Lankshear (646296) is
confirmed in his appointment and granted the rank of Pilot
Officer, with effect from 30 April 1957.

Flying Officer Ernest Robert Reynolds (133881) to be
temporary Flight Lieutenant while commanding an Air
Training Corps Unit, with effect from 1 April 1957.

from the General Duties Branch, Territorial Air Force, to the
Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period terminating 31
March 1963, with effect from 19 March 1957.

Resignation

his commission, with effect from 27 March 1957.

Declaration That a Reserve be the Tokerau Beach Domain
and Appointment of Domain Board

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister
of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described
in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the
provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be known as the
Tokerau Beach Domain and, further, appoints the Mangonui
County Council to be the Tokerau Beach Domain Board to
have control of the said domain.
