A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General
Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the First Schedule hereto, together with the right
of way created by memorandum of transfer No. 13769, in so
far as it has not been surrendered by memorandum of transfer
No. 261000, Wellington Land Registry, and the land described
in the Second Schedule hereto, is hereby taken for better
utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 6th day of May 1957.
FIRST SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District con-
taining 8·3 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, being
part Section 12, Porirua District. All certificate of title, Volume
52, folio 102, Wellington Land Registry.
SECOND SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District con-
taining 10·2 perches, situated in the City of Wellington, being
part Section 12, Porirua District. All certificate of title, Volume
49, folio 103, Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 24th day of April 1957.

General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that

better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 6th day of May 1957.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for
a municipal depot and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors,
and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date here-
inafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the 6th day of May 1957.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the North Auckland Land District
containing 13·9 perches, situated in the City of Auckland;
Auckland R.D., and being part Allotment 1 of Section 39,
City of Auckland. All certificate of title, Volume 595, folio

for an institution established under the Child Welfare Act
1925; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 6th day of May 1957.

containing 1 rood 10·4 perches, situated in the Borough of
Taradale, Hawke's Bay R.D., and being Lot 8, D.P. 8845,

a gravel pit; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the 6th day of May 1957.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the Otago Land District containing
4 acres 2 roods 4 perches, situated in Block XIV, Tarras Survey
District, Otago R.D., and being part Section 17; as the same
is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
153164 (S.O. 12409) deposited in the office of the Minister of
Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

May 1957.

taining 9·8 perches, situated in Block XI, Mangawhero Survey
District, Wellington R.D., being part Mangamahu No. 2; as
the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 153189 (S.O. 23784) deposited in the office of the
Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured
orange.
