PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the interest in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by Donald Malcolm David Waters, of Richmond Station, Lake Tekapo, sheepfarmer, under and by virtue of pastoral licence No. 521, Canterbury Land Registry, is hereby taken for the development of water power (Lake Tekapo Power Scheme).
