COLONELS' LIST
Regular Force
Brigadier R. C. Queree, C.B.E., D.S.O., relinquishes the appointment of Acting Commander, Central Military District, retaining the appointment of Vice-Chief of the General Staff.

Brigadier W. S. McKinnon, O.B.E., B.SC., late Head, N.Z. Joint Staff Mission, Washington, U.S.A., is posted for duty to H.Q., Northern Military District.

Brigadier W. S. McKinnon, O.B.E., B.SC., is appointed Commander, Northern Military District.

Brigadier C. L. Pleasants, C.B.E., D.S.O., M.C., E.D., B.A., relinquishes the appointment of Commander, Northern Military District, and is appointed Commander, Central Military District.

HEADQUARTERS, 3RD INFANTRY BRIGADE
Captain (temp. Major) N. S. Murchison, LL.B., was transferred from the 3rd Armoured Regiment, R.N.Z.A.C., to the 1st Armoured Car Regiment (New Zealand Scottish), R.N.Z.A.C., and remains seconded to Headquarters, 3rd Infantry Brigade, in his present appointment.
Dated 31 July 1956.
Lieutenant R. F. Young, 1st Battalion, The Canterbury Regiment, and attached to the Rangiora High School Cadets, ceases to be seconded to Headquarters, 3rd Infantry Brigade, as a Liaison Officer.
