Leasehold Estates in Land Taken for the Purposes of a Road
in Blocks XII and XVI, Lowry Peaks Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that
the leasehold estate in the land first and secondly described in
the Schedule hereto, held from Her Majesty the Queen by
Wilfred Ted Jackman, of Domett, farmer, under and by virtue
of lease in perpetuity No. 189, Volume 163, folio 129, Canterbury
Land Registry, and the leasehold estate in the land
thirdly described in the Schedule hereto, held from Her
Majesty the Queen by Ian Milton Foster, of Cheviot, farmer,
under and by virtue of lease in perpetuity No. 806, Volume
175, folio 51, Canterbury Land Registry, and the leasehold
estate in the land fourthly described in the Schedule hereto,
held from Her Majesty the Queen by Frederick Robert Par-
tington, of Domett, farmer, under and by virtue of lease in
perpetuity No. 165, Volume 163, folio 130, Canterbury Land
Registry, are hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after
the 8th day of April 1957.

ALL those pieces of land in the Canterbury Land District,
situated in the Lowry Peaks Survey District, Canterbury R.D.,
described as follows:

marked and coloured as above mentioned and deposited in the
office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,

of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lease-
hold estate in the land first and secondly described in the

and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect
on and after the 8th day of April 1957.
