A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of April 1957.

All those pieces of Crown land in the Canterbury Land District, situated in the Lowry Peaks Survey District, Canterbury R.D., described as follows:

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for the development of water power (Waitaki River Power Scheme) is hereby set apart for road; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of April 1957.

All that piece of land in the Wellington Land District containing 1 rood 8.8 perches, situated in Block V, Belmont Survey District, and being Lot 8, D.P. 1900, being part Section 61, Porirua District. All certificates of title, Volume 209, folio 155, Wellington Land Registry.

All that piece of land in the South Auckland Land District containing 2 acres and 0.4 of a perch, situated in Block XVI, Maungakawa Survey District, being part Te Pae-O-Tu Rawaru No. 2 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152317 (S.O. 37870) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 8th day of April 1957.
FIRST SCHEDULE
All that piece of closed street in the Canterbury Land District containing 4 acres 2 roods 27 perches, situated in the Borough of Waimate, Canterbury R.D., and adjoining Town Sections 405 to 410, 415 to 423, 448 to 461, and 481 to 483, Borough of Waimate, and part Reserve 145 (Crown land) and railway land; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 153049 (S.O. 9084) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE
All that piece of land in the Canterbury Land District containing 8 acres 2 roods 39 perches, situated in the Borough of Waimate, being Sections 405 to 413, 415 to 423, 448 to 461, 481 to 483 (all inclusive), Town of Waimate. All certificates of title, Volume 113, folio 54, Volume 113, folio 57, and part certificate of title, Volume 113, folio 59, Canterbury Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of March 1957.
