Land in the Town of Naseby Declared to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen as Crown Land Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 11 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1955, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that as from the 16th day of April 1957 the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be deemed to be vested in Her Majesty as Crown land subject to the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

If at any time before the 16th day of April 1962 the registered proprietor or licensee or any other person having any estate or interest in any land to which this Proclamation relates adduces satisfactory evidence of his title or interest thereto, he shall be entitled to claim compensation for his interest therein as provided by subsection (4) of section 11 of the Reserves and Other Lands Disposal Act 1955.

Proclaiming a Tribal District Under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 6 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby declare the parts of New Zealand described in the Schedule hereto to be a tribal district for the purposes of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

WHANAUNGA TRIBAL DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being the Coromandel County and adjacent islands, bounded on the west, north, and east generally by the sea from the mouth of the Waikawau River to the north head of Tairua Harbour; thence north-westerly along a right line in the direction of the source of the Waikawau River to its intersection with the south-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District; thence south-westerly along that boundary to its south-eastern corner; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block IV aforesaid, and the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 5, 6, and 9, Block VII, Whitianga Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence along the eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said Section 9 and the south-eastern boundary of Section 8, Block VII aforesaid, to the southernmost point of the said Section 8; thence along the eastern, southern, and western boundaries of Section 7, Block VII aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of Section 6 of the said Block VII; thence along the southern and western boundaries of Section 6 and the western boundaries of Section 5, Block VII, and Section 4, Block IV, Whitianga Survey District, to their intersection with a line between the northern head of Tairua Harbour and the source of the Waikawau River; thence along that line to the source of the Waikawau River and down that river to its mouth, the point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of November 1956.

Crown Land Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of April 1957.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of Crown land in the North Auckland Land District, situated in the City of Auckland, Auckland R.D., described as follows:

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for better utilisation; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 1st day of April 1957.
