LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE

EVIDENCE having been furnished of the loss of outstanding
duplicate of mortgage 235353, whereof William Taylor Mc-
Cosland Nelson, of Auckland, salesman (now deceased), is
mortgagee, affecting 39·42 perches, being part Lot 58, Deposited
Plan 1403, and all the land in certificate of title, Volume 410,
folio 36, Wellington Registry, and application (K.39434)
having been made to me to register transmission 58880 to
Lewis Denham Kerr, of Wellington, company manager, and a
discharge of the said mortgage 235353, I hereby give notice of
my intention to dispense with the production of the said instru-
ment under section 44 of the Land Transfer Act 1952 and to
register the said transmission and discharge on the expiration
of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing this
notice.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pakuranga Water Supply Reticulation Extension Loan
No. 2 1956, £32,400

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loan Act 1926 and all other
powers it thereunto enabling, the Manukau County Council
hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £32,400 authorised to be raised by the
Manukau County Council under the above-mentioned Act
for the purpose of carrying out works of water supply within
the Pakuranga Water Supply Reticulation Extension Loan
No. 2 Special Rating Area, the said Manukau County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of fifteen-sixteenths
of a penny ($\frac{15}{16}$d.) in the pound (£) on the rateable value (on
the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the
Pakuranga Water Supply Reticulation Extension Loan No. 2
Special Rating Area more particularly described in the
Schedule hereto; and that such special rate shall be an
annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and
payable yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being a period of ten
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

point on the shore of Hauraki Gulf at the north-eastern
