HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PURSUANT to the Town and Country Planning Regulations
1954, public notice is hereby given that the district scheme
under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 for
Heretaunga-Pinehaven (Hutt County) was approved by the
Council by resolution passed at its meeting held on 14
February, after all objections, appeals, and arbitrations relating
to the scheme had been disposed of and the scheme had been
amended to give effect to all objections and appeals allowed
and all variations of the scheme required by the Town and
Country Planning Appeal Board had been incorporated.
The Council also resolved that the scheme shall come into
operation on 1 March 1957.
Copies of the scheme, as approved, have been deposited in
the Council’s office and in every public library in the district
and may be inspected without fee by any person who so
requires at any time when these places are open to the public.

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Objections to the Masterton County (No. 1 Section) District
Scheme

THE Masterton County Council hereby gives notice that the
hearing of objections to the district scheme relating to the
No. 1 Section will commence at the Masterton County Council
Chambers at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon of Thursday, the
21st day of March 1957, and will continue as there arranged
from time to time and place to place until all objections and
witnesses have been heard.
All persons who wish to be heard in support or opposition
to any objection shall notify the Council accordingly at least
three days before that date.
The following is a summary of the subject matters of
objections received by the Council:

  1. F. E. Allen:

(1) Objects to his property being zoned rural.
(2) Objects to his property being zoned rural.

  1. I. Allen and Son Ltd.: Object to their property being
    zoned rural.

  2. Marjory Allen: Objects to her property being zoned rural.

  3. W. H. Barnes: Objects to his property being zoned rural.

  4. M. A. Barrett: Objects to her property being zoned rural.

  5. B. Belcher: Objects to her property being required for pub-
    lic use.

  6. T. A. Cunningham: Objects to portion of his property
    being set aside for a reserve.

  7. Department of Maori Affairs: Objects to portion of their
    property being zoned rural.

  8. Masterton Borough Council:

(1) Requesting variation to subdivisional standards and
uses in residential A Zones.
(2) Requesting further areas contiguous to the borough
boundary to be zoned residential.
(3) Requesting extension to the proposed stock route.

(1) Object to their property on which their factory is

TRUSTS ACT 1908

In the estate of Florence May Strong, late of Masterton,
spinster, deceased.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 18 of the Religious,
Charitable, and Educational Trusts Act 1908, that a scheme
prepared by the Guardian Trust and Executors Co. of New
Zealand Ltd. as trustee of the estate of the above-named and
relating to the disposal of certain funds in the said estate in
favour of the Girls’ Friendly Society (Wellington) Trust
Board Incorporated has been referred to the Supreme Court
at Wellington which will hear and determine all matters relat-
ing thereto at 10 a.m. on Friday, 22 March 1957. A copy of
the said scheme has been deposited in and may be inspected
at the Registry of the said Court.
