KAIKOHE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Fire Station Loan 1956, £7,500

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of seven thousand five hundred pounds (£7,500) authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the erection of a fire station at Kaikohe, the said Kaikohe Borough Council, acting as the Kaikohe Urban Fire Authority, hereby makes and levies a special rate of three-quarter pence (3¼d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Kaikohe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of December and the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council held on the 31st day of January 1957.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

War Memorial Loan 1956, £5,000

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds (£5,000) authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the erection of and providing furniture and fittings for the Kaikohe District War Memorial, the said Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of eleven-sixteenth pence (11/16d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Kaikohe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of September and the 1st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fifteen (15) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Kaikohe Borough Council held on the 31st day of January 1957.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Loan 1956, £50,000

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Kaikohe Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of fifty thousand pounds (£50,000) authorised to be raised by the Kaikohe Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing the first phase of a sewerage scheme for Kaikohe, the said Kaikohe Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three and three-eighth pence (3⅜d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Kaikohe; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of November and the 1st day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1954

Public notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Wairoa Electric Power Board held on the 17th day of December 1956, the following resolution was passed:

In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amendments and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Wairoa Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows: "That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's Housing Loan 1954, £15,000, authorised by the Wairoa Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Wairoa Electric Power District and for such purposes to do all or any of such matters and things, including the provision of dwellings, which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Wairoa Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of point nought four one six of a penny (0·0416d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Wairoa Electric Power District, such special rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of March in each and every year, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is fully repaid."

BLENHEIM BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Staff Housing Supplementary Loan 1956, £1,000

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and amendments thereto and all other Acts and powers enabling it in that behalf, the Council of the Borough of Blenheim doth hereby resolve as follows:

"That, for the purpose of securing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000 authorised to be raised by the Blenheim Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which the Staff Housing Loan 1955, £10,000, was raised, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twelve one-thousandths of a penny (0·012d.) in the pound (£) upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Blenheim; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate payable on demand in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the said loan is fully paid off, and the said Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge the said special rate as security for the above loan."

Certified as a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Blenheim Borough Council at a meeting held on the 30th day of January 1957.

OTAKI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Otaki War Memorial Hall Supplementary Loan 1955, £5,000

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Otaki Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000 authorised to be raised by the Otaki Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting part of the cost of erecting a war memorial hall and public library, the said Otaki Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of two-thirds of a penny (2/3d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Otaki; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of five years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Otaki Borough Council at a meeting of the Council held on the 23rd day of January 1957.
