WARKWORTH TOWN COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Centennial Pavilion Loan 1956, £2,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by
the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Local Government
Loans Act 1926, and their amendments, and all and every
other powers contained in any other Act enabling it in that
behalf, the Warkworth Town Council hereby resolves as
follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of £2,000 authorised to be raised by the
Warkworth Town Council under the above-mentioned Acts
and their amendments for the purpose of erecting a centennial
pavilion, the Town Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 1/20th of a penny in the pound (£) upon the rateable
value of all rateable property of the whole of the Town Dis-
trict of Warkworth; and such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a reso-
lution passed by the Warkworth Town Council at a meeting
held on the 26th day of November 1956.

TE KUITI BOROUGH COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Pensioners' Housing Loan 1956, £11,400
NOTICE is hereby given that, at a meeting of the above Council
held on the 17th day of December 1956, the following resolu-
tion was passed:
In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Te Kuiti
Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of eleven thousand four hundred pounds
(£11,400) authorised to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
erecting pensioners' housing, the said Te Kuiti Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-
sixteenths of a penny (7/16.d.) in the pound on the rateable
value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all the rate-
able property within the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such
special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the
currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day
of April in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."

GREY ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION LEVYING SECURITY RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926 and its amend-
ments and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Grey
Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the
principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's Building
Loan 1956, of £37,000, authorised to be raised by the Grey
Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the
purpose of building a store and workshop for the benefit of
the Grey Electric Power District and for such purpose to do all
or any of such matters and things which the Board is empow-
ered to do by the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 and its
amendments and by all other powers and authorities it
enabling, the Grey Electric Power Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of decimal one two nine (0.129) of a
penny (d.) in the pound (£) upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Grey
Electric Power District; such special rate to be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be
payable yearly on the 15th day of April in each and every
year, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully
repaid."
Certified a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of
the Grey Electric Power Board held on Friday, 14 December
1956.

TE AWAMUTU ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Te Awamutu
Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £75,000 authorised to be raised by the
Te Awamutu Electric Power Board under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of further reticulating the
Te Awamutu Electric Power District, including the provision
of load-control equipment for the district and the purchase
of all necessary material, plant, land, and rights over land
and the payment of wages and engineering, survey, legal, and
other fees, the said Te Awamutu Electric Power Board
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one penny in the
pound upon the rateable (unimproved) value of all rateable
property in the Te Awamutu Electric Power District; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of August in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."

WAIMEA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Waimea
Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £100,000 known as Reticulation Loan
(No. 8) 1956 authorised to be raised by the Waimea Electric
Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the pur-
pose of further reticulating the Waimea Electric Power
District, the said Waimea Electric Power Board hereby
makes and levies a special rate of two-seventeenths of one
penny (2/17d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the
basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the
Waimea Electric Power District; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of twenty years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the
Counties Act 1920.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Taranaki County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts,
to execute a certain public work; namely, the construction
of a public road, being Paraite Road, and for the purposes
of such public work the various lands described in the
Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
Notice is further given that a plan of the land so required
to be taken for road is deposited at the public office of the
County Clerk to the said Council situate at Robe Street,
New Plymouth, and the plans are open for inspection, without
fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public
work or to the taking of such lands who have any well
grounded objection to the execution of the said public work
or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections
in writing and send the same within forty (40) days from
the first publication of this notice to the County Clerk at
the Taranaki County Council Chambers, Robe Street, New
Plymouth.
