mencing at the southernmost corner of part Lots 47 and 48,
D.P. 1630; thence south-westerly along the north-western side
of Richardson Avenue for a distance of 998-7 links; thence
north-westerly along the north-eastern side of Russell Street
for a distance of 500-7 links; thence north-easterly along the
south-eastern boundaries of Lot 6, D.P. 1747, Lot 1, D.P. 4385,
Lot 9, D.P. 1747, to the south-western boundary of part Lots
47 and 48, D.P. 1630; thence south-easterly along the south-

boats wholly propelled by oars or paddles. -
Gisborne City Waterworks Reserve
The use of boats in the Gisborne City Waterworks Reserve
is hereby prohibited.

General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant published
in Gazette, 28 November 1946, Volume I, page 1801, notifying
and declaring an area of land in the Hawera Acclimatisa-
tion District to be a sanctuary under the Animals Protection
and Game Act 1921-22.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 10th day of December 1956.

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Warrant published
in Gazette, 9 March 1950, Volume I, at page 250, notifying
and declaring an area known as the Toreparu Swamp in the
Auckland Acclimatisation District to be a sanctuary for the
purposes of the Animals Protection and Game Act 1921-22.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

and declaring the River Avon to be a sanctuary under the
Animals Protection and Game Act 1921-22.

Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the
Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent
State forest land.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT-WESTLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in Grey County, containing 6 acres 1 rood 32
perches, more or less, and being Reserve 2000, situated in
Block II, Ahaura Survey District. As shown on plan No.
120/65 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest
Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plan

ALL that area in Wairoa County containing by admeasure-
ment 28,976 acres, more or less, being Section 2, Block X, and
Section 2, Block XII, Waitara Survey District, and Section 5,
Block I, Section 2, Block II, Section 1, Block V, Sections 3
and 4, Block VI, Sections 1 and 2, Block IX, and Sections 25
and 26, Block X, Mohaka Survey District. As shown on plan
No. 65/10 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand
Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O.

THE RIGHT HON. K. J. HOLYOAKE PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 3 of the Judicature Amendment Act 1933,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, and on the
certificate of the Chief Justice and two other Judges of the
Supreme Court that it is not desirable or expedient that the
hearing of an appeal by Walter James Bolton against his con-
viction on an indictment for murder be deferred until the next
ordinary sitting of the Court of Appeal, hereby declares that
a special sitting of the Court of Appeal shall be held at the
Supreme Court House, Wellington, on Monday, the 28th day
of January 1957, at 10.30 o'clock in the forenoon.
