Trustees of the Omaha Public Hall and Library Site Appointed
Pursuant to section 6 (1) of the Reserves, Endowments, and Crown and Maori Lands Exchange, Sale, Disposal, and Enabling Act 1898, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
Colin Robertson Matheson and John Leonard Wyatt
to be trustees of the Omaha Public Hall and Library Site in place of Duncan Alexander Matheson and Daniel Kempt, deceased.

Varying a Notice Declaring Parts of a Tribal District to be Tribal Committee Areas under the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945
Pursuant to section 14 of the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Act 1945, the Minister of Maori Affairs hereby varies the notice dated 16 December 1947 and published in the Gazette on 8 January 1948, at page 21, declaring parts of the Tuwharetoa No. 3 Tribal District to be tribal committee areas for the purposes of the said Act, by excluding from the Schedule thereto the description of the Taumarunui Tribal Committee Area and substituting therefor the descriptions appearing in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
WHARAUROA TRIBAL COMMITTEE AREA
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost point of the Borough of Taumarunui as described in the Gazette of 1910, at page 3231; thence proceeding along the north-eastern boundary of that borough and its production to the middle of the Wanganui River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of Paraone Street in the said borough; thence northerly to and along the middle of Paraone Street to its junction with the middle of Hakiaha Street; thence westerly along the middle of that street to a point in line with the western boundary of Ohura South G No. 4E1 Block; thence to and along that boundary and its production to the northern boundary of the Borough of Taumarunui aforesaid; thence easterly and north-easterly along that borough boundary to the point of commencement.
NGATIHAUA TRIBAL COMMITTEE AREA
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the confluence of the Otunui Stream and the Wanganui River in Block XVI, Ohura Survey District; thence proceeding northerly along a straight line to a point in the middle of the Otahu Road in line with the north-western boundary of Section 9, Block XI, Tangitu Survey District; thence south-easterly along a straight line to the confluence of the Ongarue and Taringamotu Rivers; thence easterly along a straight line to Trig. Station 1712 (Whatawhata) in Block XIV, Tahua Survey District; thence south-westerly along a straight line to the northernmost point of the Borough of Taumarunui as described in the Gazette of 1910, at page 3231; thence south-westerly and westerly along the boundary of that borough to a point in line with the western boundary of Ohura South G No. 4E1 Block; thence southerly to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of Hakiaha Street; thence easterly along the middle of that street to its junction with Paraone Street; thence southerly along the middle of that street and its production to the middle of the Wanganui River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 5, Block II, Hunua Survey District; thence to and along that boundary to and along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 5, to a point in line with the western boundary of Section 4, Block II, Hunua Survey District; thence to and along the western and southern boundaries of the said Section 4 to its easternmost corner; thence southerly along a straight line to the north-eastern corner of Section 8, Block VIII, Hunua Survey District, a straight line to Trig. Station Upokoera in Block VI, Hunua Survey District, and a straight line to the northernmost corner of Section 4, Block XIII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence along the north-western boundary of the said Section 4 and its production to the middle of the Maungaroa Road; thence south-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the northern boundary of Block IV, Whirinaki Survey District; thence to and along the northern boundaries of Blocks IV, III, II, and I, Whirinaki Survey District, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Wanganui River; thence up the middle of that river to its confluence with the Otunui Stream, being the point of commencement.

WAIMARINO TRIBAL COMMITTEE AREA
All that area bounded by a line commencing at the south-eastern corner of Waimarino F Block, situated in Block IX, Tongariro Survey District; thence due east to the middle of the Whakapapa River; thence up the middle of that river and the Whakapapanui River to its junction with the Makahikatoa Stream; thence easterly along a straight line to Trig. Station D (Ngauruhoe) in Block XVI, Tongariro Survey District; thence south-westerly along a straight line to Trig. Station H (Paretetaitanga) in Block XI, Ruapehu Survey District; thence westerly along a straight line to Trig. Station Te Kohatu in Block VI, Ruapehu Survey District, a straight line to the source of the Makatote Stream and down the middle of that stream to its intersection with the eastern boundary of Section 13, Block VIII, Manganui Survey District; thence southerly along that boundary and the eastern boundary of Section 18, Block VIII aforesaid, and its production to the middle of the Manganuiateao River; thence down the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 24, Block XI, Manganui Survey District; thence to and along that boundary and its production to the middle of the Raetihi-Waimarino road; thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 24, Block VII, Manganui Survey District; thence to and along that boundary, the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block VI aforesaid, the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 4, Block II, and the south-western and northern boundaries of Section 3, Block I, Manganui Survey District, to the northernmost corner of the last-mentioned section; thence to and up the middle of the Ruatiti Stream to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 8, Block XIII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence north-westerly to and along the said boundary and its production to the middle of Kokako Road; thence south-westerly along the middle of that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block XIII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence to and along that boundary to the north-western corner of the said Section 5; thence easterly along a straight line to Trig. Station D in Block II, Manganui Survey District; thence north-easterly along a straight line to the south-eastern corner of Waimarino F Block, being the point of commencement.
TAUREWA TRIBAL COMMITTEE AREA
All that area bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Wanganui River in line with the north-western boundary of Taurewa East No. 4 Block; thence proceeding up the middle of the Wanganui River to its junction with the Mangatepopo Stream; thence south-easterly along a straight line to Trig. Station Mangatepopo in Block VII, Tongariro Survey District, and a straight line to Trig. Station D (Ngauruhoe) in Block XVI, Tongariro Survey District; thence westerly along a straight line to the confluence of the Makahikatoa Stream and the Whakapapanui River; thence down the middle of the Whakapapanui and Whakapapa Rivers to a point due east of the south-eastern corner of Waimarino F Block in Block IX, Tongariro Survey District; thence due west to the said south-eastern corner; thence northerly along a straight line to the westernmost corner of Taurewa East No. 4 Block; thence along the north-western boundary of Taurewa East No. 4 Block and its production to the middle of the Wanganui River, being the point of commencement.
