IN LIQUIDATION

Notice of General Meeting

Pursuant to section 232 of the Companies Act 1933,
notice is hereby given that a general meeting of
Whangaroa Farm Lands Limited will be held on the 5th day
of March 1956 at the registered office of the company at 149
Hereford Street, Christchurch, for the purpose of laying
before members an account of the winding up of the com-
pany, showing how the winding up has been conducted and
the property of the company has been disposed of.

KAHAROA RABBIT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Housing Loan 1955, £2,500

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, the Kaharoa
Rabbit Board hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of two thousand five hundred pounds
(£2,500) authorised to be raised by the Kaharoa Rabbit
Board under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of a
worker's dwelling, the said Kaharoa Rabbit Board hereby
makes and levies a special rate of three-quarters of a penny
(¾d.) per acre on all rateable property in the Kaharoa Rabbit
District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be pay-
able half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of
October in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of twenty-five years, or until the loan is
fully paid off."

CLIFTON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND AND OF PROPOSED
STOPPING OF ROADS

NOTICE is hereby given that the Clifton County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works
Act 1928, to execute a certain public work-to wit, the
construction of a road through Sections 85, 86, 87, 88, 100,
and 124 of Block VIII, Waitara Survey District-and for the
purpose of such public work proposes to take:
(1) 28·2 perches, being part Section 124, Block VII, Wai-
tara S.D.;
(2) 17·9 perches, being part Section 100, Block VII, Wai-
tara S.D.;
(3) 1 rood 34·8 perches, being part Sections 85 and 86,
Block VII, Waitara S.D.;
(4) 2 roods 22·8 perches, being part Section 88, Block VII,
Waitara S.D.;
(5) 2 roods 29·7 perches, being parts of Section 87,
Block VII, Waitara S.D.;
and proposes further to take for severances in connection
with such public work:
(6) 1 rood 13·6 perches, being part Section 88, Block VII,
Waitara S.D.;
(7) 6·7 perches, being parts Section 87, Block VII, Waitara
S.D.;
(8) 1·6 perches, being part Section 85, Block VII, Waitara
S.D.;
and notice is given that the council proposes under the pro-
visions of the said Act to close parts of the Ohanga and
North Roads.
A plan of the land required to be taken and of parts of
roads proposed to be closed is deposited for public inspection
at the office of the said Clifton County Council in Queen
Street, Waitara. The areas required to be taken for road are
coloured thereon orange, sepia, and blue respectively, the areas
required for severances are coloured thereon blue bordered
blue and orange bordered orange repectively, and the parts
of roads proposed to be closed are coloured thereon green.
All persons affected by the proposed taking are hereby
called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections
to the taking of the said land and to send such writing
within forty days of the date of the first publication of this
notice, namely, the 6th day of February 1956, to the Clifton
County Council at its office aforesaid; and all persons object-
ing to the proposed closing of roads are likewise called upon
to lodge their objections in writing at the said office on or
before the 20th day of March 1956.

GORE BUILDINGS LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter
of Gore Buildings Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that by an entry in the minute
book signed by all the members of the company and
dated the 26th day of January 1956, the following resolution
was passed as a special resolution:
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, and that
Mr R. S. Green, of Gore, Public Accountant, be appointed
liquidator of the company."

DONMAS CLOTHING COMPANY LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter
of the Donmas Clothing Company Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that in an entry made in the
shareholders' minute book on the 20th day of December
1955, pursuant to section 300 of the Companies Act, the
following special resolution was passed:
"That the company be wound up voluntarily and that Mr
J. D. Rose, Public Accountant, be appointed liquidator."
All persons or companies having claims against the above
company are required to send in full particulars to the under-
signed on or before 28 February 1956; otherwise they may
be excluded from participation in the distribution of assets.

SMITH AND NATTA LIMITED

IN VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION

In the matter of the Companies Act 1933, and in the matter
of Smith and Natta Limited.
NOTICE is hereby given that by entry in the minute book
of the company pursuant of section 300 of the Com-
panies Act 1933, dated the 2nd day of February 1956, it was
resolved:
"1. That the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities,
continue its business and that it be wound up voluntarily.
"2. That the shareholders nominate John Murphy, Public
Accountant, Wellington, as liquidator."
A meeting of the creditors of the said company will be
held pursuant to section 234 of the Companies Act 1933, at
the office of John Murphy and Company, Prudential Building,
Wellington, on Monday, the 20th day of February 1956, at
11 o'clock in the morning, at which meeting a full statement
of the position of the company's affairs, together with a list
of the creditors and the estimated amount of their claims
will be laid before the meeting, and at which meeting the
creditors, in pursuance of section 235 of the said Act, may
nominate a person to act as liquidator of the company, and
in pursuance of section 236 of the said Act may appoint a
committee of inspection.

A MEETING of creditors of Chatterton & Perry Limited
(in receivership), Builders, Ngatea, will be held on
Monday, 20 February 1956, at 8 p.m., at the Ngatea Public
Hall, Ngatea, for the purpose of deciding whether the
company should be wound up by creditors' voluntary winding-
up, and if so decided, to appoint a liquidator.
