Declaring Lands in Wellington and Otago Land Districts Vested in the Wellington and Otago Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wellington Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Otago Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 3, Block I, Rimutaka Survey District: Area, 2 acres and 1·37 perches, more or less. Balance certificate of title, Volume 252, folio 67. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 19317A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 23419.)

SECOND SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 11, Block V, Lower Hawea Survey District: Area, 1 acre 2 roods 39·2 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 246, folio 45. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 1/205G deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Declaring Lands in South Auckland and Canterbury Land Districts Vested in the South Auckland and Canterbury Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
