Republic of the Philippines, Thailand, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Federation of Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak, Singapore, the United States of America, and Vietnam (which Governments, with the exception of Her Majesty’s Government in New Zealand, are hereinafter referred to as the said Governments):

Now, therefore, pursuant to section 5 of the Diplomatic Privileges Extension Act 1947, the Minister of External Affairs hereby directs that, for the purpose of any enactment or rule of law or custom relating to the immunities of an envoy of a foreign Power accredited to Her Majesty, and of the retinue of such an envoy:

(a) Every representative of each of the said Governments shall be treated as if he were such an envoy; and

(b) All the members of the official staff of any such representative shall be treated as if they were his retinue.

Rules of the Ashburton Acclimatisation Society Approved

PURSUANT to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the rules of the Ashburton Acclimatisation Society have been approved by him under that subsection.

PURSUANT to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the rules of the West Coast Acclimatisation Society have been approved by him under that subsection.

Amendment to Rules of Wellington Acclimatisation Society Approved

PURSUANT to section 29 (4) of the Wildlife Act 1953, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby gives notice that the amendment to rule 8 of the rules of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society adopted at the special general meeting of the society held on 15 November 1956 is hereby approved by him under that subsection.

Applying Board of Trade (Gas) Regulations 1924 to Certain Companies

PURSUANT to clause 27 of the Board of Trade (Gas) Regulations 1924,* the Minister of Industries and Commerce hereby adds to the Schedule to the said regulations the names of the following gas companies:

The Eltham Borough Council.

The Rangiora Borough Council.
