Notice of Intention to Take Land for the Use, Convenience, or Enjoyment of a Road in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of a road; and notice is hereby further given that plans of the land so required to be taken are deposited in the post office at Petone and are there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

Situated in Block XIII, Belmont Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Town and Country Planning Act 1953—County of Manawatu

NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 20 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, approval has been granted to the Manawatu County Council to prepare, recommend, and approve its district scheme by sections as follows:

Section 1: Rural Section: As described in the First Schedule hereto.

Section 2: Foxton Beach Section: As described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Section 3: Foxton Extra Urban Section: As described in the Third Schedule hereto.

Section 4: Himatangi Beach Section: As described in the Fourth Schedule hereto.

Section 5: Tangimoana Beach Section: As described in the Fifth Schedule hereto.

Section 6: Feilding Extra Urban Section: As described in the Sixth Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

MANAWATU COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME, SECTION 1

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District comprising the County of Manawatu as described in the Gazette of 1941, at page 86, excluding therefrom the Foxton Beach, Foxton Extra Urban, Himatangi Beach, Tangimoana Beach, and Feilding Extra Urban Sections hereinafter described.

SECOND SCHEDULE

MANAWATU COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME, SECTION 2

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast in Block I, Moutere Survey District, at the north-western corner of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 17622 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence easterly along the northern boundary of that lot to its easternmost corner; thence easterly along a right line to Norton Trig. Station situated on the western boundary of Block I, Mount Robinson Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to and across Beach Road to the north-eastern corner of Rural Section 470, Township of Foxton; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of that section to its southernmost corner; thence south-westerly along a right line to and across a public road to the easternmost corner of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 11478 deposited as aforesaid; thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of that lot and the production of that boundary to the middle of the Manawatu River; thence north-westerly down the middle of that river to a point in the middle of its mouth; thence northerly generally to and along the sea coast to the north-western corner of Lot 1 as shown on the said plan numbered 17622, being the point of commencement.

THIRD SCHEDULE

MANAWATU COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME, SECTION 3

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block V, Mount Robinson Survey District, being the intersection of the southern side of Purcell Street with the western side of Nye Street; thence westerly along the southern side of Purcell Street and its production across Harbour Street, to and along the western side of that street, to the easternmost corner of Town Section 591, Township of Foxton, and along the northern boundary of that section and its production to the middle of the Mana-
watu River; thence southerly generally up the middle of that river to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 4457 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence easterly generally to and along that boundary, across a public road, and along the southern boundaries of Lot 3 as shown on the plan numbered 4457 aforesaid and Rural Sections 412 and 413, Township of Foxton, to the south-eastern corner of the last-mentioned section; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of that section and Suburban Section 262, Township of Foxton, to the intersection of the southern side of Purcell Street with the western side of Nye Street, being the point of commencement.

FOURTH SCHEDULE

MANAWATU COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME, SECTION 4

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the north-western corner of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 12793 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington; thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost corner of Section 379, Township of Carnarvon; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of the said Section 379 to its southernmost corner; thence along a right line, crossing the Koputara Road to the easternmost corner of Lot 2 as shown on the plan numbered 13356 deposited as aforesaid; thence southerly and westerly along the eastern and southern boundaries of that lot to its south-western corner; thence along a right line running due west to the sea coast; thence northerly along the sea coast to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 12793 aforesaid; thence north-easterly along a right line to the north-western corner of the said Lot 1, being the point of commencement.

FIFTH SCHEDULE

MANAWATU COUNTY DISTRICT SCHEME, SECTION 5

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Rangitikei River in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 581, Township of Carnarvon; thence south-westerly to and along that boundary across a public road, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 578, 577, and 537, Township of Carnarvon, and the production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the Longburn-Tangimoana Main Highway; thence south-easterly along the middle of that highway to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 538, Township of Carnarvon; thence south-westerly to and along its south-eastern boundary and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 22 as shown on the plan numbered 105 deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Wellington, along the abutment of a road and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lot 21 as shown on the said plan numbered 105, Section 546, Lots 22, 21, and 12 as shown on the plan numbered 106 deposited as aforesaid, the abutment of Ripa Street, the south-eastern boundary of Section 569, Township of Carnarvon, and a right line to the easternmost corner of Section 4, Block II, Sandy Survey District; thence north-westerly along the generally northern boundaries of the said Section 4 to a public road; thence south-westerly along a right line bearing 225° to the sea coast; thence northerly generally along the sea coast and a right line to a point in the middle of the mouth of the Rangitikei River; thence easterly generally up the middle of that river to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 581, Township of Carnarvon, being the point of commencement.
