of Dunedin, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 5 perches,
more or less, being part Section 755R and part Lot 2, D.P.
613, Leithton Estate, and being part Section 1, Block X, North
Harbour and Blueskin District.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked P.W.D. 152015 deposited in the office of the Minister
of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Palmerston North City Council to permit the laying
off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at
a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less
than 44 ft. 4 in., subject to the condition that no building or
part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 5 to 22
(inclusive) of a subdivision of the land shown edged green
on the plan marked P.W.D. 152165 referred to in the said
Schedule, within a distance of 40 ft. from the centre line of
the said street.

Authorising the Borrowing by the Ohakune Borough Council
by Way of Hypothecation of Debentures Issued in Respect
of a Loan of £8,500

November 1956
Present:
His Excellency The Governor-General in Council
Whereas by Order in Council made on the 21st day of
November 1956 consent was given to the raising in New
Zealand by the Ohakune Borough Council (hereinafter called
the said local authority) of a loan of £8,500 to be known as
Group Housing Loan 1956 (hereinafter called the said loan):
And whereas the said local authority, pending the raising of
the said loan in accordance with the determinations of the
Local Government Loans Board, is desirous of borrowing the
said loan or part thereof by hypothecation or mortgage, pursuant to section 34 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, of
the debentures authorised to be issued in respect of the said
loan:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 7 of the Local
Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act
1932-33 and section 8 of the Local Authorities Interest
Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act 1933, His
Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents
to the said local authority, pending the raising of the said
loan in accordance with the said determinations, borrowing
the said loan or any part thereof by the hypothecation or
mortgage of the said debentures at a rate of interest not
exceeding 4½ per cent per annum for a term not exceeding
two years and hereby prescribes that the money borrowed by
the hypothecation or mortgage of the said debentures shall,
pending the raising of the said loan, be repaid by annual or
half-yearly instalments equivalent to the instalments of
principal which would have been repaid if on the first day on
which any money is borrowed by such hypothecation or mortgage the whole of the said loan of £8,500 had been raised in
accordance with the said determinations.

Whereas by Order in Council made on the 4th day of April
1956 consent was given to the raising in New Zealand by the
Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric Power Board (hereinafter
called the said local authority) of a loan of £80,000 to be
known as Reticulation Extension Loan 1955 (hereinafter
called the said loan):
And whereas the said local authority, pending the raising
of portion of the said loan amounting to £20,000 (hereinafter called the said sum), is desirous of borrowing the said
sum or part thereof by hypothecation or mortgage, pursuant
to section 34 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act 1926, of the
debentures authorised to be issued in respect of the said
loan:
Now, therefore, pursuant to section 7 of the Local
Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Act
1932-33 and section 8 of the Local Authorities Interest Reduction and Loans Conversion Amendment Act 1933, His Excellence the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the
