WAIHI RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block II, Ohinemuri Survey District, being the north-eastern corner of the Komata Riding hereinafter described, and near Trig. Station No. 89 (Npapuketurua) and running easterly generally along the northern boundary of the Ohinemuri County as described in Gazette, No. 49, of the 12th day of August 1954, page 1307, and then southerly along the shores of the Tasman Sea, to and along the southern boundary of Waihi Nos. 1 and part 2 Blocks as shown on S.O. Plan 30596 (areas of 23 acres and 2 roods and 632 acres taken for recreation ground, Gazette 1940, page 378, and declared the Orokawa Domain, Gazette 1941, page 2019), to and along the generally eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 22757, being parts Waihi Nos. 1, 2, 4, and 5 Blocks, to and along the northern boundary of Lot 60 (road), the northern and western boundaries of Lot 1, the western boundaries of Lots 2, 3, and 4, the western and southern boundaries of Lot 5, and the southern boundary of Lot 60 aforesaid, the aforesaid lots being of L.T.S. 3842, being parts Waihi Nos. 4 and 5 Blocks, again along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 22757 aforesaid, along the northern boundary of Lot 13, L.T.S. 3842 aforesaid, to and up the left bank of the Waihi Stream, to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 59 (road), L.T.S. 3842 aforesaid; thence southerly along a right line across the aforesaid stream, to and along that western boundary, to and along the northern and western boundaries of Lot 14, the western boundaries of Lots 15, 16, 17, and 18, the western and southern boundaries of Lot 19, the southern boundaries of Lots 20, 21, 22, 24, 25, 28, 29, 31, 59 aforesaid, and 36, the aforesaid lots being of L.T.S. 3842 aforesaid, again along the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 22757 aforesaid, to and along the northern and western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 16653, being parts Waihi No. 5 Block, the western boundaries of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, D.P. 16653 aforesaid, the aforesaid lots all being portions of the Waihi No. 5 Block aforesaid, and along a right line, being the production of the western boundary of Lot 12, D.P. 16653 aforesaid, to the northern side of the Waihi Beach Main Highway; thence along the aforesaid northern side to a point in line with the south-western side of Wilson Road; thence along a right line across that main highway, to and along the south-western side of Wilson Road aforesaid, to and along the northern boundaries of Lots 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2 and the northern and western boundaries of Lot 1, the aforesaid lots being of D.P. 37325, being part Waihi No. 5 Block, the western end of a public road, the western boundaries of Lots 87, 86, 85, 84, and 83, along a right line across the intervening part Lot 1, D.P. 28882, being part Waihi No. 5 Block aforesaid, along the western boundaries of Lots 82, 81, and 80, the western and southern boundaries of Lot 79, and the southern boundary of Lot 78, the aforesaid lots all being shown on D.P. 37325, being part Waihi No. 5 Block aforesaid, to the south-eastern corner of Lot 78 aforesaid; thence southerly along a right line bearing 150° 01′ 25″, being the bearing of Citrus Avenue, for a distance of 3025 links, and along another right line due south to the northern boundary of Section 5, Block I, Katikati North Survey District; thence easterly along the aforesaid northern boundary, to and then south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the Ohinemuri County hereinbefore mentioned, to and along the north-western boundary of Section 3, Block VII, Aroha Survey District, along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Section 41, Block IV, Aroha Survey District aforesaid, to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 24, Block III of the aforesaid survey district; thence along a right line across a public road, to and along the south-eastern and generally north-eastern boundaries of the last-mentioned Section 24, the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 3 and 2, Block III aforesaid, to and along the south-western side of the Old Tauranga Road, and along a right line, being that roadside produced across Pukekauri Road to its western side; thence along the aforesaid western side and up the middle of the Ohinemuri River, to a point in line with the middle of the public road which forms the northern boundary of Section 47, Block XV, Ohinemuri Survey District; thence along a right line across a public road, the East Coast Main Trunk Railway, and the Paeroa–Waihi State Highway to and along the middle of that public road which also forms the north-eastern boundary of Section 198, Block XV aforesaid, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Section 155, the south-western and generally western boundaries of Section 65, the western boundary of part Section 64, the aforesaid sections being of Block XV aforesaid, along the western side generally of the public road which forms the western boundaries of Sections 11 (State forest, Gazette 1937, page 2690) and 10 (State forest, Gazette 1951, page 424), to and up the middle of Stoney Creek, to and along the south-western and northern boundaries of Section 10 aforesaid, the eastern boundaries of Sections 8, 21 (State forest, Gazette 1947, page 850), 13, 18, and 9, crossing an intervening public road, the aforesaid sections being of Block XI of the aforesaid survey district, the eastern boundaries of part Section 3, Sections 15 (State forest, Gazette 1950, page 2088) and 6 (State forest, Gazette 1938, page 277), the aforesaid sections being of Block VI, Ohinemuri Survey District aforesaid, to the northernmost corner of that Section 6; thence in a north-westerly direction generally, along the dividing ridge through Trig. Station No. 89 (Npapuketurua) to the north-eastern corner of the Komata Riding aforesaid, the point of commencement, save and excepting thereout the Borough of Waihi as described in Gazette, No. 49, of the 12th day of August 1954, page 1306.
WAIHI BEACH RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the shores of the Tasman Sea in Block III, Waihi North Survey District, being the south-eastern corner of Waihi No. 2 Block (area of 23 acres 2 roods forming part of the Orokawa Domain, Gazette 1941, page 2019, as shown on S.O. Plan 30596), and running southerly along those shores which form the eastern boundary of the Ohinemuri County, to and along the southern boundary of that county as described in Gazette, No. 49, of the 12th day of August 1954, page 1307, to and north-westerly and then easterly along the generally eastern boundary of the Waihi Riding hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.
TOWNSHIPS RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the eastern boundary of the Paeroa Riding, being the northernmost corner of Section 76, Block XIII, Ohinemuri Survey District, and running easterly and southerly generally along the boundary of the Waihi West Riding as described in Gazette, No. 15, of the 3rd day of March 1938, page 406, to the southernmost corner of Section 33, Block I, Aroha Survey District; thence northerly generally along the eastern boundary of the Paeroa Riding hereinbefore described to the point of commencement.
WAIHI WEST RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point being the north-eastern corner of Block VI, Ohinemuri Survey District, and running southerly generally along the western boundary of the Waihi Riding hereinbefore described to and along the southern boundaries of the Ohinemuri County as described in Gazette, No. 49, of the 12th day of August 1954, page 1307, to the south-eastern corner of Mangaiti Riding; thence northerly along the eastern boundary of the aforesaid Mangaiti and Paeroa Ridings as hereinbefore described, the eastern boundary generally of the Townships Riding as described in Gazette, No. 15, of the 3rd day of March 1938, page 405, to and along another part of the eastern boundary of the Paeroa Riding aforesaid and the eastern boundary of the Komata Riding as described in Gazette, No. 15, of the 3rd day of March 1938, page 405, to the point of commencement.
KOMATA RIDING
All that area in the South Auckland Land District as described in Gazette, No. 15, of the 3rd day of March 1938, page 405.
