Land Taken for Street in the City of Christchurch

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Christchurch as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 19th day of November 1956.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:
A. R. P.
0 0 4·7 Part Rural Section 90; coloured sepia.
0 0 2 Part Lot 16, D.P. 270, being part Rural Section 90; coloured orange.

Situated in the City of Christchurch, Canterbury R.D. (S.O. 8993.)

In the Canterbury Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 152011 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the First Schedule hereto; and I also hereby take the land described in the Second Schedule hereto for the purposes of subsection (6) of the said section 29.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT—AUCKLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in Whangarei County containing 946 acres and 5 perches, more or less, being Sections 16, 19, and 25, Block III, and Section 9, Block IV, Hukerenui Survey District. As shown on plan No. 9/36 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (S.O. Plans 17453, 24713, 26645, and 38379.)
