TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Peninsula County Council, at its meeting held on the 18th day of October 1956, has resolved to prepare for the Peninsula County a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or her opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked “Peninsula District Scheme” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered to the County Clerk’s office on or before the 14th day of January 1957.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Kairanga County Council, at its meeting held on the 11th day of October 1955, has resolved to prepare for the County of Kairanga a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 by the following sections:

No. 1 Section: Palmerston North Extra Urban Section.
No. 2 Section: Rural Section.

The said two portions of the County of Kairanga are as defined in Gazette No. 53, page 1334, of 27 September 1956, and shown on a map available for public inspection at the office of the Council, 117 Rangitikei Street, Palmerston North. A copy of an extract from the said Gazette is also available for public inspection.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked “Kairanga County District Scheme, Section 1” or “Kairanga County District Scheme, Section 2” (as is applicable) should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk’s office on or before the 31st day of January 1957.

WAITOTARA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD PURPOSES

In the matter of the Counties Act 1920 and the Public Works Act 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitotara County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work, namely, the widening and altering of the Springvale-Francis Main Highway, and for such public work the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situate at 331 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.

And notice is hereby further given that the said Council proposes to close that portion of the Springvale-Francis Main Highway described in the Second Schedule hereto, a plan whereof is deposited at the aforesaid public office of the Clerk to the Council where it is open to inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons objecting to the closing of such road must lodge their objections in writing at the office of the Council on or before the 14th day of December 1956.

NOTICE OF MOTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes to execute a certain public work, namely, to release portion of Riverbend Road, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken for street; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council situated in Tennyson Street, Napier, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must set their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at his office aforesaid.
