Revoking a Warrant Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated
Locality and Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated
Locality for the Purposes of the Transport Act 1949,
Section 36
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the
Minister of Transport hereby revokes that Warrant dated the
9th day of April 1951* which applies to part of the area
described in the Schedule hereto, and hereby declares the area
described in the said Schedule to be a closely populated locality
for the purposes of the said section, to the intent that a
person driving any motor vehicle on any road therein shall
be subject to the maximum speed limit of 30 miles an hour
fixed by the said section.
SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Matamata County: All that area at Tokoroa
Township bounded by a line commencing at the intersection
of the eastern boundary of Paraonui Road with the northern
boundary of Baird Road and proceeding north-easterly along
the northern boundary of Baird Road to the Kinleigh-Putaruru
Railway Reserve and thence along the prolongation of the
said boundary of Baird Road across the railway reserve to
the left bank of the Whakauru Stream; thence south-easterly
generally up that left bank to and along the eastern boundary
of the Tirau-Wairakei State Highway No. 41 to a point 30
chains south of the intersection of the boundary of the said
State highway with the southern boundary of Sloss Road;
then along a right line at right angles to the said boundary
of the State highway to and southerly along the eastern boun-
dary of Roslin Street to the northern boundary of Maraetai
Road; thence westerly along that northern boundary to the
eastern boundary of part Lot 2, D.P. 32554, being part
Tokoroa No. 1 Block; thence along the eastern and northern
boundaries of that part Lot 2 to and along the eastern
boundaries of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 29115, being part of the
aforementioned No. 1 Block, to and westerly along the
southern boundary of Baird Road to a point in line with the
eastern boundary of Paraonui Road aforementioned; thence
along a right line across Baird Road to the point of com-
mencement; as the said area is more particularly shown on
the plan marked TT. 2361, deposited in the office of the
Transport Department, Wellington.

Crown Land Subject as to Parts to Fencing Agreements
PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares the land described in the
Schedule hereto to be Crown land for the purposes of the
Land Act 1948 as from the 12th day of November 1956,
subject as to Lots 1, 2, and 10, D.P. 42381, to the fencing
agreement contained in memorandum of transfer No. 577906,
Auckland Land Registry, as to the land secondly described to
the fencing agreements contained in memoranda of transfer

Registry, as to the land thirdly described to the fencing
