Military Training Amendment Act 1956—Notice Fixing the Age of Liability for Military Service

Pursuant to section 2 of the Military Training Amendment Act 1956, the Minister of Labour hereby fixes eighteen years and three months as the age at which the liability of persons to be called upon to serve in the armed forces pursuant to the Military Training Act 1949, as from and including the 1st day of January 1957, shall commence.

Declaration That Part of the Kaikoura Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve Subject to Part II of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that that part of the Kaikoura Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act.
