PURSUANT to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the district valuation rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 31 October 1956.

Pursuant to the discretion conferred upon him by subsection (2) of section 9, Valuation of Land Act 1951, the Valuer-General intends to exercise the authority conferred by the foregoing Order in Council so far as it relates to Auckland City by revising only those properties on the district valuation roll thereof which lie within the Grey Lynn portion of the city.

Amending Order in Council Licensing Owen Garth Woolley to Use and Occupy a Part of the Foreshore on the Tamaki River as a Site for a Boatbuilding Shed and Slipway

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council of the 2nd day of February 1954, published in the Gazette, 11 February 1954, Volume I, page 210, licensing Owen Garth Woolley to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark on the Tamaki River as a site for a boatbuilding shed and slipway, by adding after the words “M.D. 9621” the words “and M.D. 10092”.

Authorising the Investment of £10,000 of the Wellington Harbour Board's Funds

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Wellington Harbour Board to invest the sum of £10,000 from its Public Risk Fund in debentures of the Palmerston North City Council Airport Improvement Loan 1955, final issue of £50,400, to bear interest at the rate of 4½ per cent per annum for a period of ten years from the 1st day of November 1956.

Authorising the Laying Off of a Street off Grove Road in the Borough of Papakura, Subject to a Condition as to the Building Line

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Papakura Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed street described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of its length of less than 66 ft., but not less than 54 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the plan marked P.W.D. 151972 referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of 52 ft. from the centre line of the said street.
SCHEDULE
THAT proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Papakura, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 15 perches, more or less, being part Lot 25, D.P. 43137, being part Allotment 42, Parish of Papakura.
As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 151972 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
