PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act
1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke
Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby pro-
claim and declare that the road described in the First Schedule
hereto is hereby closed and added to the reserve described in
the Second Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 roods 24·24
perches.

in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and
thereon coloured green.
SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, Kaponga Town
District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres and 28·4
perches, more or less, being Sections 29, 30, 31, 38, 39, and
40, Block XI, Kaupokonui Survey District, and also Lot 9,
D.P. 3722, being part Section 37, Block XI, Kaupokonui
Survey District.

laid out by the Maori Land Court by orders dated the 6th
day of August 1946 and the 24th day of June 1955, to be road.

conservation Purposes in Block XVII, Belmont Survey
District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-
General of New Zealand, hereby revoke the Proclamation
dated the 17th day of September 1951, and published in
Gazette, 20 September 1951, Volume III, page 1393, and
deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington as No.
4449, taking an easement for soil-conservation purposes, in
Block XVII, Belmont Survey District, such easement being no
longer required.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand,
this 1st day of November 1956.
