Purposes of Section 36 of the Transport Act 1949
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Transport Act 1949, the
Minister of Transport hereby declares the area described in the
Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the
purposes of the said section to the intent that a person
driving any motor vehicle on any road therein shall be subject
to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by
the said section.

Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940
PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions
of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far
as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not
apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof
the following provision shall apply:
A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940 to the person described in column 1 of the
Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade
motor in the course of his employment for the employer
described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not
authorise him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to
drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

SPECIAL ORDER
IN exercise of the power conferred upon it by section 23 of
the Counties Act 1920 and amendments thereto, the Waitemata County Council hereby resolves by way of special order:
"(a) That the existing Wainui Riding be divided into two
ridings by severing therefrom all that area described in Part I
of the First Schedule hereto annexed, such severed portion to
be known as the Whangaparaoa Riding, and the balance of the
riding described in Part II of the First Schedule to be known
as the Wainui Riding.
