Declaration That a Reserve be the Coopers Beach Domain and Appointment of Domain Board
PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the reserve for recreation described in the Schedule hereto to be a public domain, subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to be known as the Coopers Beach Domain, and further appoints the Mangonui County Council to be the Coopers Beach Domain Board to have control of the said domain.

High Commissioner for New Zealand in Canada Reappointed
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council has been pleased to reappoint
Thomas Charles Atkinson Hislop, a Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George, as High Commissioner for New Zealand in Canada, under and for the purposes of the External Affairs Act 1943, to hold the said office as on and from the 8th day of August 1956 to the 30th day of April 1957.
