Also all that area in the South Auckland Land District,
Tauranga County, bounded by a line commencing at the
northernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. 5156, being part Whaka-
marama No. 2 Block in Block XI, Aongatete Survey District,
and running south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries
of the said Lot 1, and of Lots 3 and 5, D.P. 5099, being parts
of the said No. 2 Block, to the easternmost corner of that
Lot 5; thence southerly along a right line between that last-
mentioned corner and Trig. Station No. 146 (Te Weraiti) at
the westernmost corner of Mangatotara No. 3B 2B Block, in
Block IV, Opoutihi Survey District, to the boundary of the
Hauraki Catchment District as described in the aforesaid
Order in Council dated 13 February 1946; thence generally
north-westerly and then north-easterly along that boundary
to, and continuing along, the north-western boundary of Lot 1,
D.P. 5156 aforesaid, to the point of commencement.

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Rabbits Act 1955, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Albury Rabbit District
    Order 1956.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Albury Rabbit District, which
    was constituted by Order in Council on the 28th day of
    September 1949,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as
    from the commencement of this order the boundaries of the
    said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE ALBURY RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Counties of Waimate, Mackenzie, and
Levels, Canterbury Land District, containing 125,450 acres,
more or less, commencing at a point at the confluence of the
Rivers Opihi and Opuha, Block XIII, Opihi Survey District;
then south-easterly down the middle of the Opihi River to
a point in line with Hazelburn Road; thence south-westerly
generally to and along that road and Three Mile Bush Road
to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Rural
Section 18519; thence south-easterly generally to and along
the south-western and south-eastern boundaries of that section,
and south-western boundary of Rural Section 5454, the north-
western and south-western boundaries of Rural Section 20111
to a public road; thence south-westerly along that public
road to Mowats Road; thence south-easterly generally along
Mowats Road and Timewells Road to Sterndale Valley Road;
then southerly generally along Sterndale Valley Road, Moa
Pass Road, Clelands Road, and Clelands Bridge across the
Tengawai River to the Timaru-Cromwell State Highway
No. 60; thence westerly along that State highway to Canning-
ton Road; thence south-easterly along that road and a public
road fronting Sections 79, 80, and 81, Rosewill Settlement,
and its production to the middle of the Pareora River; thence
north-westerly generally along the middle of that river to
Cannington Bridge; thence again along Cannington Road and
Gorge Road to the middle of the Pareora River; thence
south-westerly along the middle of the Pareora River and
south-easterly along a tributary of that river and continuing
along a right line to the summit of Mount Nimrod; thence
south-westerly along a right line to Trig. Station F on the
summit of the Hunters Hills, Block II, Nimrod Survey Dis-
trict; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western
boundaries of Sections 10, 8, and 2, Mount Nessing Settlement,
to and along the summit of the Hunters Hills to the southern
boundary of Rural Section 36478; thence south-westerly along
that boundary and its production to the middle of Lockharts
Stream; thence northerly generally to and along Lockharts
Stream to Mackenzie Stream; thence easterly generally along
the middle of Mackenzie Stream and the Tengawai River to
a point in line with the road passing through Section 23,
Albury Settlement, and bearing 237Β° 43β€² on S.O. Plan 1434L;
thence to and along that road and the road passing through
Sections 23, 24, 25, and 26, Albury Settlement, to Mackenzie
Country Road; thence northerly along that road and the
Fairlie Branch Railway to the northernmost corner of Sec-
tion 22, Albury Settlement; thence easterly and northerly
generally along the north-eastern boundary of Section 22
aforesaid, the north-western and western boundaries of Rural
Sections 28941 and 27460, and the production of the latter to
the Opihi River; thence south-easterly along the middle of
that river to the point of commencement.

of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Hakataramea Valley
    Rabbit District Order 1956.
    (2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
    date of its notification in the Gazette.
  2. The boundaries of the Hakataramea Valley Rabbit Dis-
    trict, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 1st
    day of June 1949,* are hereby altered and redefined; and as
    from the commencement of this order the boundaries of the
    said district shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE HAKATARAMEA VALLEY RABBIT DISTRICT

ALL that area in the Mackenzie and Waimate Counties, Can-
terbury Land District, containing 129,850 acres, more or less,
commencing at a point at the confluence of the Rivers Haka-
taramea and Waitaki; thence north-westerly along the middle
of the Waitaki River to a point in line with the south-eastern
boundary of Rural Section 12270; thence north-easterly gene-
rally to and along the south-eastern and north-eastern boun-
daries of Rural Section 12270, the north-eastern and
north-western boundaries of Rural Section 11442, the north-
eastern boundaries of Rural Sections 29561, 35961, and 35960,
the eastern boundaries of Lots 6 and 1, D.P. 2739 (Sheet 1),
and the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 2739 (Sheet 2),
to the easternmost corner of registered lease No. 10115; thence
north-westerly along the north-eastern boundary of the said
lease No. 10115 to the north-western boundary of Lot 2,
D.P. 2739 (Sheet 2), on the summit of the Kirkliston Range,
west of Trig. AA, Block I, Hakataramea Survey District;
thence north-easterly generally along the north-western
boundary of Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 2739 (Sheets 2 and 3), to
and along the southern and eastern boundaries of Run 70A
to the northernmost corner of that run; thence south-easterly
along the rabbit-proof fence passing through Run 252 to the
south-eastern boundary of that run; thence north-easterly
generally along the south-eastern boundary of Run 252, the
road passing through Rural Section 30128 to and along the
north-eastern boundary of Rural Section 30128 and its pro-
duction to the middle of Dalgety Stream; thence easterly
generally along Dalgety Stream to the middle of the Haka-
taramea River; thence northerly generally along the middle
of that river to and along the western boundaries of Sections
2 and 1, Block VIII, and Section 1, Block IV, Mackenzie
Survey District, to the southernmost corner of Rural Section
36478, Block IV, Mackenzie Survey District; thence north-
easterly along the southern boundary of Rural Section 36478
to the summit of the Hunters Hills; thence south-easterly
along the summit of the Hunters Hills to and along the south-
western boundaries of Sections 2, 8, and 10, Mount Nessing
Settlement, to the south-eastern boundary of Run 65; thence
south-westerly generally along that boundary and Peters
Stream to the middle of the Hakataramea River; thence south-
westerly generally along the middle of that river to the point
of commencement.

THE RIGHT HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby revokes, as from the 30th
day of September 1956, the Order in Council of the 28th day
of April 1954, published in the Gazette, 6 May 1954, Volume II,
page 673, granting the control of parts of the foreshore at
Taipa Beach, Cable Bay, and Coopers Beach in Mangonui
Harbour in the Mangonui Harbour Board.
