Lands Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948
C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being portions of provisional State forest reserves set apart by Proclamations dated the 5th day of July 1920, the 24th day of January 1923, the 17th day of May 1929; and the 8th day of May 1931, respectively, and published in Gazettes, 8 July 1920, 1 February 1923, 23 May 1929, and 14 May 1931, Volume II, Volume I, and Volume II, pages 2119, 321, 1442, and 1454, respectively, are required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such lands shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest lands and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Section 1, Block III, and part Sections 1 and 2, Block VII, Ranginui Survey District.
Also part Wharepuhunga Nos. 17A, 19, and 20 Blocks, and part Pouakani A No. 1A, A No. 2A, A No. 2B, A No. 3A, and B No. 7 Blocks, situated in Blocks XVI, Wharepapa, Blocks III, IV, VII, VIII, XI, and XII, Ranginui, and Blocks I and V, Whakamaru Survey Districts: Total area, 18,700 acres, approximately. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 36/2290A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 37924.)

land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve No. 1676 set apart by Proclamation dated the 7th day of October 1930, and published in Gazette, 9 October 1930, Volume III, page 3125, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

Declaring Lands in Taranaki Land District Vested in the Taranaki Education Board as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen
C. W. M. NORRIE, Governor-General A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS, by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time by Proclamation declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty; and thereupon the school site or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the lands described in the Schedule hereto, being areas vested in the Taranaki Education Board as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
