Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940

Pursuant to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister
of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions
of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as
they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply
to the persons hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the
following provision shall apply:

A motor driver's licence issued under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940 to the persons described in column 1 of the
Schedule hereunder may authorise them to drive a heavy trade
motor in the course of their employment for the employers
described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not
authorise them, while they are under the age of eighteen years,
to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Approval of Testing Officers Under the Motor Drivers
Regulations 1940

Pursuant to regulation 5 of the Motor Drivers Regulations
1940, the Minister of Transport hereby approves of the person
named in column 2 of the Schedule hereunder being a testing
officer under the said regulations for the authority specified
in column 1 of the said Schedule.

Consent to Erection of Flashing Red Traffic Control Lights
by the Mount Wellington Borough Council

Pursuant to clause (6E) of regulation 4 of the Traffic Regulations
1936 (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1936,
Amendment No. 8), the Minister of Transport hereby consents
to the erection of flashing red lights by the Mount Wellington Borough Council at the two places described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of traffic control in terms of clause (6D) of the said regulation 4.
SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Mount Wellington Borough:
On the Ellerslie-Panmure Highway at the two points adjacent to the Mount Wellington Fire Station more particularly indicated on Plan T.T. 2362 deposited in the office of the Transport Department at Wellington.

Consent to Erection of Flashing Red Traffic Control Lights by the Lower Hutt Fire Board

Pursuant to clause (6E) of regulation 4 of the Traffic Regulations
1936 (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1936,
Amendment No. 8), the Minister of Transport hereby consents
to the erection of flashing red lights by the Lower Hutt Fire
Board at the two places described in the Schedule hereto for
the purposes of traffic control in terms of clause (6D) of the
said regulation 4.

SITUATED within Lower Hutt City on Waterloo Road at the two points adjacent to the Lower Hutt Fire Station, more particularly indicated on Plan T.T. 2363 deposited in the office of the Transport Department at Wellington.

Special Order Made by Tauranga County Council Altering Riding Boundaries

Pursuant to section 100 of the Counties Act 1920, as amended by section 3 of the Counties Amendment Act 1921-22, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby publishes the following special order made by the Tauranga County Council and fixes the 8th day of October as the date on which the said special order shall take effect.

SPECIAL ORDER

THAT, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of the Counties Act 1920, the Tauranga County Council resolves by way of special order to alter the existing boundary between the Greerton and Waimapu Ridings by including in the Greerton Riding portion of the existing Waimapu Riding, the new descriptions of the boundaries of the said ridings to be as described in the Schedule hereto.

WAIMAPU RIDING
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station No. 909 (Waianuanu) on the western boundary of Block II, Opoutihi Survey District, and running generally easterly and northerly along the north-eastern boundary of Mangatotara No. 1A Block, to and down the left bank of the Ngamuwahine River, to and along the south-eastern boundaries of the part Kumikumi No. 1 Block shown on D.P. 7156 and of Kumikumi No. 2 Block, to and down the left bank of the Wairoa River, to and along the line of mean high water along the southern shores of the Tauranga Harbour, to the western boundary of the Borough of Tauranga; thence generally southerly along the boundary of that borough, as described in Gazette No. 23 of the 20th day of April 1950, page 472, to the south-western side of Faulkner Street; thence north-westerly along that side of the said street to and again southerly along the generally eastern boundary of Allotment 524, Parish of Te Papa, along a right line across a public road to and along the generally eastern boundary of Allotment 527 of the said parish and along the north-eastern side of Chadwick Road to a point in line with
