NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to section 241 of the Companies Act 1933, the final meeting of the above-named company will be held at the office of the liquidator, Fifth Floor, Nathan's Building, 13 Grey Street, Wellington, at 2.15 p.m., on Thursday, the 27th day of September 1956, for the purpose of receiving the liquidator's report and final statement of accounts.

NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named companies by the Supreme Court was on the 6th day of September 1956 presented to the said Court by John Edward Morrah Batten, of Wellington, company director, and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Wellington on Wednesday, the 3rd day of October 1956, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same by the under-signed on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

BOROUGH OF HUNTLY
SPECIAL ORDER
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in it by subsection (2) of section 53 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Huntly Borough Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, that the total number of councillors of the Borough of Huntly shall be increased from six councillors to eight councillors and that such increase shall take effect from the 17th day of November 1956.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Franklin County Council, at a meeting held on the 18th day of January 1956, has resolved to prepare for the County of Franklin a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “Franklin County District Scheme” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk’s office on or before the 4th day of April 1956.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Raetihi Borough Council at its meeting held on the 24th day of January 1956 resolved to prepare for the Raetihi Borough a district planning scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “Raetihi District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 30th day of November 1956.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waipukurau County Council, at its meeting held on the 6th day of September 1956, has resolved to prepare for the Waipukurau County a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.
Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.
Proposals marked “Waipukurau County District Scheme” should be addressed to the County Clerk and delivered at the County Clerk’s office on or before the 12th day of November 1956.

AWATERE COUNTY COUNCIL
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, the Counties Act 1920, and all other Acts and powers it thereunto enabling, the Awatere County Council hereby resolves:
“That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of principal, interest, and other charges on the Pensioners’ Flats Loan of three thousand pounds (£3,000) authorised to be raised by the Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of erecting pensioners’ flats, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of three one-hundredths of a penny (0·03d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Awatere, and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable annually on the 13th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan until the loan is fully paid off.”
I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Awatere County Council held on the 13th day of September 1956.
