CORRIGENDUM
IN the List of Wholesalers as at 1 June 1956, under the heading “Wholesalers’ Licences Under the Sales Tax Act 1932–33” the following amendments are required: “Commercial Trading Co. (N.Z.) Ltd.” add “Christchurch”, and “General Importing Ltd., Dunedin”, should read “General Importing Co. Ltd., Dunedin.”

Declaring Lands in Otago and Southland Land Districts Vested in the Otago and Southland Education Boards as Sites for Public Schools to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS by subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949 (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) it is provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in any other Act, the Governor-General may from time to time, by Proclamation, declare that any school site or part of a school site which in his opinion is no longer required for that purpose shall be vested in Her Majesty, and thereupon the school site, or part thereof, as the case may be, shall vest in Her Majesty, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date of the Proclamation:
Now, therefore, pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the said Act, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Otago Education Board, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Southland Education Board, as sites for public schools, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.
FIRST SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
Lot 1, D.P. 8705, being Sections 11 and 12, Block V, Town of Kurow: Area, 2 roods 13·94 perches, more or less. Part certificate of title, Volume 358, folio 5.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

Crown Land Set Apart for State Housing Purposes in Block VIII, Otahuhu Survey District

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for State housing purposes; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 24th day of September 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of Crown land set apart: 2 roods 35·8 perches.
Being parts Allotment 101, and part Allotment 101A, Pakuranga Parish, and being part of the land in Proclamation No. 15044, Auckland Land Registry.
Situated in Block VIII, Otahuhu Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of September 1956.
