BOROUGH OF BIRKENHEAD

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Birkenhead Borough Council, at its meeting held on the 5th day of September 1956, has resolved to prepare for the Birkenhead Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked “Birkenhead District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office on or before the 21st day of November 1956.

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Whakatane Borough Council, pursuant to a resolution of the Council, has resolved to prepare for the Whakatane Borough a district scheme as required by the provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953.

Every person and every local authority in the district is hereby invited to submit any proposals which, in his or its opinion, should be considered in the preparation of the proposed scheme.

Proposals marked “Whakatane Borough District Scheme” should be addressed to the Town Clerk and delivered at the Town Clerk’s office, Commerce Street, Whakatane, on or before the 9th day of November 1956.

RAGLAN COUNTY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the district scheme, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953, in operation in the Huntly-Pukemiro extra-urban planning area, has become due for review under section 30 of that Act and is at present under revision accordingly.

A copy of the operative scheme is deposited in the Council’s office, Waingaro Road, Ngaruawahia, and may be inspected without fee by any person who so requires at any time during office hours.

The Council proposes to confirm the scheme without any change and any person wishing to object to the confirmation of the scheme may make written objection in form No. 4 prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954 and such objection shall be lodged at the County office marked “Objection to Extra-urban Planning Scheme” at any time not later than 5 p.m. on 20 December 1956.

BOROUGH OF TAKAPUNA

TOWN PLANNING DISTRICT SCHEME

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of the Takapuna Borough Council made on the 19th day of June 1956, a district scheme has been recommended for approval under the Town and Country Planning Act 1953. The scheme relates to the Borough of Takapuna. The scheme has been deposited in the offices of the Engineering Department of the Takapuna Borough Council, The Strand, Takapuna, and at the Takapuna Public Library, The Strand, Takapuna, and is there open for inspection, without fee, to all persons interested therein at any time when the above places are open to the public.

Objections to the scheme or to any part thereof shall be in writing in the form No. 4, prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country Planning Regulations 1954, and shall be lodged at the office of the Council at any time not later than the 14th day of December 1956. At a later date every objection will be open for public inspection, and any person who wishes to support or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing, within a period of which public notice will be given.

BOROUGH OF TAKAPUNA

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Takapuna Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the erection of municipal buildings, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Lake Road, Takapuna, and it is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections, in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Council Chambers, Lake Road, Takapuna.

SCHEDULE

TWENTY-THREE decimal one perches, more or less, being part Allotment 31 of Section 1 of the Parish of Takapuna, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 754, folio 284 (Auckland Registry), limited as to parcels and title.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and its amendments, and the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Wellington City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts and all other Acts, powers, and authorities enabling it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work, namely, for electricity purposes at Webb Street and Torrens Terrace in the City of Wellington, and for the purpose of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the Public Office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Municipal Offices Building, Mercer Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours, and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of such lands should, if they have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Wellington City Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.

SCHEDULE

THOSE pieces of land situate in the City of Wellington containing by admeasurement:

First, nine and six-tenths perches (9·6 p.), more or less, being part of Section 75, Town of Wellington, being Lot 32 on Deposited Plan No. 149, and being also the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 436, folio 272, Wellington Registry.

Secondly, six and four-tenths perches (6·4 p.), more or less, being part of Section 75, Town of Wellington, being part of Lot 33 on Deposited Plan No. 149, and being also the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 300, folio 235, Wellington Registry.

Thirdly, nine and six-tenths perches (9·6 p.), more or less, being part of Section 24, Town of Wellington, being Lot 39 on Deposited Plan No. 149, and being also the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 55, folio 294, Wellington Registry.

Fourthly, eight perches (8 p.), more or less, being part of Section 68, Town of Wellington, being Lot 4 on Deposited Plan No. 4702, and being also the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 273, folio 144, Wellington Registry.
