Squadron Leader Gordon Glassford Leask (70244) is granted a permanent commission in the Technical Branch (Armament Division) with his present rank and seniority. Dated 19 June 1956.

ADMINISTRATIVE AND SUPPLY BRANCH Transfer and Appointment

Secretarial Division

Flight Lieutenant Reginald Arthur McDonald (130563) is transferred from the General Duties Branch to the Administrative and Supply Branch (Secretarial Division) and is granted a permanent commission in his present rank and with seniority from 20 June 1955. Dated 16 July 1956.

Extensions of Dates of Retirement Equipment Division

The age for retirement of Squadron Leader (temp.) Erling Hastings Orbell (75605) is extended for a further period of one year, with effect from 1 August 1956.

The age for retirement of Flight Lieutenant Frederick Parker Dyer (70303) is extended for a further period of one year, with effect from 1 October 1956.

The age for retirement of Flight Lieutenant Ulysses Ian Dalgleish Runciman (70307) is extended for a period of one year, with effect from 1 October 1956.

AIR TRAINING CORPS Promotion

Flying Officer Henry Winston Stanislaus Lubeck to be Flight Lieutenant, with effect from 1 July 1956.

RESERVE OF AIR FORCE OFFICERS Transfer

Flight Lieutenant James Robertson Day, m.sc. (70356), is transferred from the Education Branch, Regular Air Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period of four years, with effect from 19 August 1956.

Appointment of Honorary Child Welfare Officer Under the Child Welfare Act 1925

PURSUANT to section 2 of the Child Welfare Act 1925, the Minister of Education hereby appoints The Reverend Kingi Matutaera Ihaka, Putiki, to be an Honorary Child Welfare Officer for the purpose of the said Act for the period ending 31 March 1957.

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints Henry Charles Rochester Basher, William John Boyce, West Radcliffe England, Albert George, Ivon Guy Grierson, Trevor Peter Grierson, William Rex Abbott Parsons, Joseph David Shier, and Oswyn Aird Wells to be the Amberley Beach Domain Board to have control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a public domain.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT--AMBERLEY BEACH DOMAIN RESERVE 3716, situated in Block VIII, Teviotdale Survey District: Area, 57 acres 3 roods 15 perches, more or less. (S.O. Plan 5231.)
