Amending an Order in Council Reapportioning Representation

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 2nd day of May 1955, and published in the Gazette on the 5th day of the same month, at page 735, reapportioning representation on the Tararua Electric Power Board, by deleting from the Schedule thereto the words "Part Weber County", and substituting therefor the words "Part Dannevirke County".

Declaring Separate Constituent Districts of the Te Awamutu
Electric Power District

At the Government House at Wellington this 5th day of September 1956
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 11A of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925 (as set out in section 2 of the Electric Power Boards Amendment Act 1953), His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares as follows:

  1. That the part of the Kawhia North Riding of the Otorohanga County situated within the Te Awamutu Electric Power District shall be a separate constituent district of that electric power district.
  2. That those parts of the Te Rauamoa, Honikiwi, Wharepapa, and Mangaorongo Ridings of the Otorohanga County situated within the Te Awamutu Electric Power District shall together be a separate constituent district of that electric power district.

Declaring Portions of the Tokoroa Farm Settlement
(Matarawa) Road in the Matamata County to be County Road

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata County, situated in Blocks V and VII, Ngautuku Survey District, commencing at the north-western corner of Section 8 of the aforesaid Block V and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 180 chains and terminating at the north-eastern corner of Section 21 of the aforesaid Block VII.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 151483 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B. (S.O. 37294.)

Also all that portion of road in the said land district and county, situated in Block XII, Patetere South Survey District, and Block V, Ngautuku Survey District, commencing at a point on the Tirau-Wairakei State Highway distant 24 chains south of the south-western corner of Section 9 of the aforesaid Block XII and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally for a distance of approximately 125 chains and terminating at the north-eastern corner of Section 7 of the aforesaid Block V.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 151482 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B. (S.O. 36756.)

Declaring Portion of the Pamotu Farm Settlement Road in
the Otorohanga County to be County Road

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 112 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.

SCHEDULE
ALL that portion of road in the South Auckland Land District situated in Block V, Wharepapa Survey District, Otorohanga County, commencing at the south-western corner of Section 31 of the aforesaid Block V and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally for a distance of 94 chains approximately and terminating at a point on the eastern boundary of Section 31 aforesaid, distant 1566.7 links northwards of the south-eastern corner of the aforesaid Section 31. PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Whangarei and be under the control and management of the Whangarei Borough Council.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 186 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 125 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Mount Roskill Borough Council to permit the laying off of the proposed streets, to be known as Keith Hay Avenue, Subritzky Avenue, Graham Bell Avenue, and Parfitt Street, described in the Schedule hereto, at a width for part of their lengths of less than 66 ft., but not less than 50 ft., subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lot 39 of a subdivision of the land fronting the said streets as shown on the plan referred to in the Schedule hereto within a distance of 8 ft. from the side line of the said Graham Bell Avenue, or of 25 ft. from the side line of the said Subritzky Avenue; or on Lots 54 and 84 of the said subdivision within a distance of 8 ft. from the side line of the said Graham Bell Avenue, or of 25 ft. from the side line of the said Keith Hay Avenue; or on Lots 96 and 108 of the said subdivision within a distance of 8 ft.
