URSUANT to section 207 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
revokes an Order in Council made on 15 December 1932 and
published in Gazette, 22 December 1932, No. 78, page 2782,
and affecting Ruatoki No. IA No. 1 and other blocks.

Waikato Branding Registration District Abolished and New Branding Registration Districts Constituted in Lieu Thereof

URSUANT to the Stock Act 1908, I, Lieutenant-General
Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the Waikato
Branding Registration District as at present constituted, and
do hereby constitute, in lieu thereof, the branding registration districts described in the Schedule hereto and
declare that the said districts shall hereafter be comprised as
described in the said Schedule; and I do also hereby appoint
the places named in the said Schedule to be the registration
offices for the said districts.
SCHEDULE
WAIKATO BRANDING REGISTRATION DISTRICT
All that area comprising the Counties of Thames, Ohinemuri,
Waikato, Raglan, Waipa, and Hauraki Plains as at present
constituted and including all boroughs and town districts in
or adjacent to that area. City of Hamilton.
MATAMATA BRANDING REGISTRATION DISTRICT
All that area comprising the County of Matamata as at
present constituted and including all boroughs and town districts in or adjacent to that area. Borough of Matamata.
PIAKO BRANDING REGISTRATION DISTRICT
All that area comprising the County of Piako as at present
constituted and including all boroughs and town districts in
or adjacent to that area. Borough of Matamata.

Act 1950, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby
Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby
appoint
Sir John Andrew Charles Allum, C.B.E.,
to be a member of the Auckland Harbour Bridge Authority
for a term of five years from the 23rd day of February 1956.

Transfer
Flying Officer Frank Arnold STEPHENS, M.Sc. (78129) is transferred from the Technical Branch (Engineering Division)
to the General Duties Branch with effect from 2 June 1955.
On transfer he relinquishes his permanent commission and is granted a short-service commission for a period of four years
with his present rank and seniority, to be followed by a
period of four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers.

as from date of appointment, to be followed by a period of
four years in the Reserve of Air Force Officers. Dated 9 November 1955.

Duties Division), Reserve of Air Force Officers, for a period
of four years with the rank of Pilot Officer and with seniority
as from date of appointment, with effect from 25 November 1955.

Flying Officer Allen White ELLIS, B.A., Dip.Ed. (131345) is transferred from the General Duties Branch to the Education Branch, with effect from 21 November 1955.
Flight Lieutenant (temp.) Peter Hamilton SCOTT (130817) is transferred from the Administrative and Supply Branch
(Special Duties Division), Territorial Air Force, to the
Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period of four years,
with effect from 1 December 1955.
Flying Officer Desmond Weston WHEELER (132718) is transferred from the General Duties Branch, Territorial Air
Force, to the Reserve of Air Force Officers for a period of
four years, with effect from 25 November 1955.
