WAIMAIRI COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and the Counties Act 1920.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waimairi County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to take for the purposes of road the land described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited at the public office of the said Council, situated at North Road, Papanui, where it lies open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected shall, if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, set forth, in writing, such objection, and send such writing within forty days from the date of the first publication of this notice addressed to the County Clerk of the Waimairi County Council at the office of the said Council.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in the Christchurch Survey District containing 7 perches, or thereabouts, being part of Rural Section 60 and being part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 94, folio 172; coloured yellow on the said plan.

WAITEMATA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reticulation Extension and Reinforcement Loan 1956, £150,000

THAT, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act 1926, and amendments and regulations made thereunder, and all other powers enabling it, the Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing yearly instalments of principal and half-yearly instalments of interest and other charges on a loan of £150,000 authorised to be raised by the Waitemata Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Acts in order to provide additional moneys for the purpose of the further reticulation of electric power within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District, the Waitemata Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/100ths of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all rateable property within the whole of the Waitemata Electric Power District, as defined in the Proclamation proclaiming the said district appearing in the Gazette dated the 18th day of October 1923 and altered by Proclamations appearing in the Gazettes dated the 27th day of November 1924, the 26th day of August 1926, the 7th day of March 1929, the 24th day of January 1935, and the 14th day of April 1954; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twelve years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above resolution was carried at a meeting of the Waitemata Electric Power Board held on the 23rd day of July 1956.

OXFORD COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, and in the matter of the Counties Act 1920.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Oxford County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to take for the purposes of road the land situate in Block VIII of the Oxford Survey District described in the Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a plan showing the land required to be taken (and together with the names of the owners and occupiers of such land so far as they can be ascertained) is deposited at the public office of the said Council at Main Street, Oxford, where it lies open for public inspection daily, without fee, by all persons during all reasonable hours and, in particular, during all ordinary office hours. All persons affected are called upon to set forth in writing any well grounded objections to the taking of such land and to send such writing within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Oxford County Council.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land situate in Block VIII of the Oxford Survey District containing 1 rood 39²/₁₀ perches, more or less, being part of Rural Section 1890, and being the parcel of land shown coloured in blue on the plan endorsed on certificate of title, Volume 654, folio 27 (Canterbury Registry), and being the land coloured in blue on a plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Christchurch and thereon numbered 8925.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of municipal buildings, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land, who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

SCHEDULE

ALL those pieces of land containing, firstly, 12 perches, more or less, being Lot 7 of a subdivision of Allotment 47 of Section 28 of the City of Auckland, and the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 33, folio 8 (Auckland Registry), and, secondly, 8·9 perches, more or less, being all the land in Deposited Plan 7820, being portion of Allotment 47 of Section 28 of the City of Auckland, and the whole of the land in certificate of title, Volume 198, folio 150 (Auckland Registry).

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, a municipal depot, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk at the Town Hall, Auckland, and it is open for public inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land, who have well grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections, in writing, and send the same within forty days from the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk, Town Hall, Auckland.

SCHEDULE

Twenty decimal five perches, more or less, situate in the City of Auckland, being part of Allotments 13 and 14 of Section 39 of the City of Auckland, and the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 598, folio 24 (Auckland Registry), limited as to parcels.
