Change of the Purpose of a Reserve to Recreation Purposes and Addition of the Reserve to the Pakuranga Domain

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto from a reserve for quarry purposes to a reserve for recreation purposes, and further, declares the said reserve to be a public domain subject to the provisions of Part III of the said Act, to form part of the Pakuranga Domain to be administered as a public domain by the Domain Board.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve, Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for road purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Papatoetoe Borough Council in such manner, at such price, and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for public reserves.
