Thames Abattoir District Extended (Notice No. Ag. 6149)

Pursuant to section 15 of the Meat Act 1939, and on the application of the Thames Borough Council, the controlling authority of the abattoir established and maintained for the Thames Abattoir District, the Minister of Agriculture hereby declares that on and from the 1st day of October 1956 all those parts of the County of Thames described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby included in the Thames Abattoir District, and that the Thames Borough Council shall be the controlling authority of the abattoir for the said abattoir district as hereby extended.

The Hastings Riding, the Totara Riding, and the Puriri Riding of the Thames County as at present constituted.

Declaration That the Otoko Domain Shall be a Recreation Reserve and Revocation of the Reservation Over the Said Land

Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby declares that the Otoko Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to the provisions of Part III of the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, and shall be deemed to be a recreation reserve subject to Part II of the said Act, and further, revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the said land.
