Land Taken for an Aerodrome in the City of Wellington

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an aerodrome; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of September 1956.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 35·1 perches.
Being part Section 9, Evans Bay District, being Lot 21, Block II, D.P. 1773. All certificate of title, Volume 200, folio 243, Wellington Land Registry.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 28th day of August 1956.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 14 of the Wildlife Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a wildlife refuge for the purposes of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
SECTIONS 3 and 4, Block IX, Ngatimaru Survey District, and Section 12, Block XII, Huiroa Survey District: Area, 516 acres 2 roods 30 perches. All certificates of title, Volume 190, folio 28, Volume 41, folio 236, and all Crown Lease Register, Volume 42, folio 199. (S.O. Plans 818 and 1252.)
As the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked I.A. 52/323 deposited in the Head Office, Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a street; and that the said street shall be under the control of the Helensville Borough Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of railway land allocated to street: 0·4 perch.
Being part railway land in Memorial 59792.
Situated in Block XIV, Kaipara Survey District, Helensville Borough. (S.O. 39563.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14217 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

In the Westland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 14128 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Commission at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes, as from the 24th day of April 1956, the Order in Council of the 24th day of April 1956 published in the Gazette, 3 May 1956, No. 27, page 576, licensing Picton Rentals Limited to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Picton, as shown on plan marked M.D. 9801 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting a boatshed thereon.
