Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby vests the reserve described in the Schedule hereto in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wairoa, in trust, for a reserve for a resting place for travelling stock.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised
Pursuant to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for utility purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land shall be disposed of by the Howick Borough Council to the sub-dividers of the land shown on Deposited Plan 43046 for the sum of £400, the proceeds of such sale to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other public reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of land for public reserves.

Hauraki Plains Drainage District--Notice of Making and Levying General Rates
Pursuant to the Hauraki Plains Act 1926, the Minister of Lands does hereby make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within the district constituted under the said Act, the general rates to meet maintenance costs for the period 1 April 1956 to 31 March 1957, as described in the Schedule hereto.
The amount of such rates will be payable in one sum on 31 August 1956.
The rate book of the district will be open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, Room 8, First Floor, Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland, and a copy of same may be inspected at the Land Drainage Office of the Ministry of Works at Paeroa, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.
SCHEDULE
CLASS A: On the unimproved value of all lands classified as Class A by the appraiser appointed under the said Act, fourpence and twenty-two one-hundredths of a penny (4·22d.) in the pound.
CLASS B: On the unimproved value of all lands so classified as Class B, twopence and forty-one one-hundredths of a penny (2·41d.) in the pound.

Kaitaia Drainage Area--Notice of Making and Levying General Rates
Pursuant to the Swamp Drainage Act 1915 and its amendments, the Minister of Lands does hereby make and levy, on the unimproved value of all land within the Kaitaia Town District Subdivision of the Kaitaia Drainage Area constituted under the said Act, a general rate described in the First Schedule hereto, and on the unimproved value of all land in the subdivision of the Kaitaia Drainage Area outside the Kaitaia Town District, the general rates described in the Second Schedule hereto, to meet maintenance costs for the period from 1 April 1956 to 31 March 1957.
The amount of such rates, together with the amount of the annually recurring special rates already made and levied, will be payable in one sum on 30 August 1956 to the Collector of Rates, Room 8, First Floor, Government Buildings, Customs Street West, Auckland.
The rate book of the area will be open for inspection at the office of the Collector of Rates, and a copy of same may be inspected at the office of the Lands and Survey Department, Kaitaia, at all times at which those offices are open for the transaction of public business.
