Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 5th day of July 1920, and published in Gazette, 8 July 1920, Vol. II, page 2108, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

SECTION 2, Block XVI, Whakamaru Survey District: Area, 265 acres 3 roods, more or less. (S.O. Plan 26308.)

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for a police station, is hereby set apart for a teacher's residence; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of August 1956.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood 15 perches.

Being Section 22, Town of Kohukohu. All the land in Proclamation No. 12681, Auckland Land Registry.

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for police purposes (residence); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of August 1956.

SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land taken: 36 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 13069, being part Hokowhitu No. 5. All certificate of title, Volume 508, folio 39, Wellington Land Registry.

Situated in the City of Palmerston North.

Leasehold Estate in Land and Land Taken for Electricity Purposes (Kings Wharf Power Station) in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 19 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1943, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the First Schedule hereto, held by the Auckland Electric Power Board for a term of fifty years from the 1st day of April 1922, under and by virtue of outstanding deed of lease No. 339445 (R. 457/768), Auckland Land Registry, and the land described in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby taken for electricity purposes (Kings Wharf Power Station); and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 20th day of August 1956.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Approximate area of the piece of land in respect of which the leasehold estate is taken: 1 acre and 25·3 perches.

Being part of the land reclaimed from the sea (Waitemata Harbour) known as the Eastern Reclamation; coloured yellow.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Approximate areas of the pieces of land taken:

0 0 5·2 Part of the land reclaimed from the sea (Waitemata Harbour) known as the Eastern Reclamation; coloured sepia.

3 2 24·1 Part of the land reclaimed from the sea (Waitemata Harbour) known as the Eastern Reclamation; coloured blue.

All situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District, Auckland R.D. (S.O. 33075.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 121274 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
