CORRIGENDUM
IN the Order in Council published in Gazette, 31 May 1956, No. 31, page 711, exempting the north-western and south-eastern sides of portion of Bute Street, in the City of Wellington, from the provisions of section 128 of the Public Works Act 1928, in the First Schedule for “Volume 340, folio 31 (Ltd.)”, read “Volume 340, folio 21 (Ltd.)”.

Declaring Maori Land to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 265 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land and to be subject to the Land Act 1948.
SCHEDULE
SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 486 acres 2 roods 20 perches, more or less, known as Kinohaku West S.S. No. 1 Block. Situated in Blocks XI and XV, Kawhia South Survey District, as shown on the plan numbered M.L. 8769 lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 6th day of August 1956.

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Charles Willoughby Moke Norrie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being portion of provisional State forest reserve No. 1701 set apart by Proclamation dated the 10th day of August 1920, and published in Gazette, 12 August 1920, Vol. II, page 2367, is required for settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of the gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT
PART Reserve 1701, situated in Block IX, Ahaura Survey District: Area, 24 acres 2 roods 36 perches, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 10/98/92A deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. Plan 4722.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of August 1956.
